Cardinal O'Keeffe:
The Pope wanted to speak with me today. He heard about the letter I sent to my sister about my nephew. He told me that I should support my nephew's vocation. When he was going to appoint a cardinal, he did not think about me. I have done nothing special and have had very little impact during my life. Then the Pope had a vision that I should be appointed as a cardinal because God had big plans for me. The Pope's advisors told the Pope that I was the least qualified person and they heard rumours that I lost my faith. The Pope agreed. He read some passages in the Bible. One was about Mathew the Tax collector and one was about Saint Paul. Both of these were sinners and God still called them. The Pope smiled at me and told me that I would soon be needed by God, and this allowed me to welcome him back into my life. He also told me to trust God if he is calling my nephew to life as a priest. This talk depressed me. I was a cardinal because of a dream or a Pope's imagination that God was telling him something.

VTT Global News:
Israel has provided humanitarian aid in the war-torn Palestine. The aid is limited and Israel's neighbours are saying it's too little too late. Hamas is also fighting back as Israel towns are now being bombed. The situation is not getting any better. The war is having an impact on the world economy as the instability in the region has caused oil prices to increase. Some speculate this will make China and the USA interfere more.
In other news, a US spokesperson has said that they have intelligence that China is planning to invade Taiwan. The US have increased their military presence in this area. China has denied that it has any short-term plans to invade Taiwan, but some political analysts think that we should remember that the US warned us when Russia was planning to invade Ukraine, and even though Russia denied it at the time, the intelligence was true.

Chloe:
I have spoken with my son about joining the priesthood. I know that my two brothers do not support the idea and my parents love the idea. I just wanted to hear from my son why he feels that he is called. Would it not be a waste of time telling people about a God that most likely is not there? If there was a God, where was he? Every day, the world was becoming a darker and darker place. My son smiled and said it is now that the world needs God. We needed to invite him back into our lives. We needed to bring love into the world and to turn away from sin. My son explained that sin is when we hurt God, others or ourselves. Then he asked me if we wanted to pray to God to bring me on the right path again. I declined this offer but said that he had my total support in this new plan he had to be a priest. I love my son and am so proud of him!

VTT Global News:
Shocking news from Europe has over 800 people died when a refugee boat sunk in the Mediterranean. Only 21 people have survived. Thousands of people have taken their luck to have a better life in Europe by sailing over the Mediterranean. The vessels that they travel on are crowded and often unsafe. It is estimated that over 200,000 try to take this journey a year. This has caused huge problems for Italy, Greece and Spain saying they cannot deal with so many. The EU has offered very little support to these three countries and is very slow to accept the refugees. It is expected that the number of refugees trying to get into Europe will increase.

Father Darby:
Today, I had a priest in my confession box who admitted that he had been having homosexual sex with Cardinal O'Keeffe. I of course suspected that the cardinal was gay and even heard rumours about it. Now I know that the Cardinal has broken several vows. He is one of the major figures in our Church. The problem is I cannot reveal anything that was said in a confessional box. This is between the penitent and God. In a way, I should forget what was said to me, but I cannot do this. I have lost all respect I had for the Cardinal.

Andrew:
I was born in the wrong family. My parents are religious fanatics. My brother is a cardinal and my sister is just a party girl. Now my nephew has decided he wants to be a priest. If no one else will take responsibility for helping him not waste his life, then I would. I arrested my nephew today and put him in a cell. I will release him when he gets wise and stops his plans of becoming a priest. If not, I will think of some charges that will keep him out of God's clutch for a long time.

Chloe:
I hate old age. My body parts are sagging much more and my face looks like it has craters. Nature, God or whoever may think they are playing a joke on humans for getting old, but the human race can solve anything. All I had to do was get plastic surgery and look 20 years younger. I know some people think that I should age gracefully. I am just not ready to look old yet.

VTT Global News:
There have been reports of people disappearing all over the world. The reports are that people were there one minute and gone the next minute. There are no numbers on how many people have disappeared, but it is estimated in the tens and millions. The eyewitness stories that have come in have been both strange and disturbing. One mother told us that she was shopping with her daughter who suddenly disappeared. Another tells of a priest who was giving a mass, and suddenly he was not there. This event has confused scientists, world leaders and law enforcement. There is no explanation as to why so many people would just disappear at once. It is the first time in history that something like this has happened on a huge scale. We will keep you updated on this very strange event.
