Andrew:
My nephew is living in the slums and it was his choice! Who decides that they want to live like animals in a dirty place like that? I went to visit him and get him to reconsider. He always was a smart boy and even when he was a gay porn star, at least he was getting a lot of money and sex. When I told him to get back to his studies and do something with his life, he smiled and said he felt as if he was given the best calling in life. He will be the instrument of Jesus in a place where people need him. This is a ridiculous ideal. If Jesus wanted to help these people, he would. God has neglected them and let them live in the dire situation that they have chosen. If these people took responsibility and took control of their own lives and did not expect God to provide for them, they would never be poor. We do not need God! We need to be our own Gods. Besides this, many who live there are Muslim. They are refugees who come to our country to scrounge on our welfare system., They will not be happy until we all convert to their wicked religion.

VTT Global News:
The UN has announced that climate change is faster and more severe than predicted. The human race has failed to reduce the global emissions of CO2 that they promised years ago. Global climate change has increased world temperatures and there are more natural disasters. This is only will get worse experts say. The American president has called this announcement from the United Nations just a way to make people afraid and to vote for the liberal hippie parties. Some Environmental organizations have asked how governments have no problems spending money on the military but not on saving the planet

Cardinal O'Keeffe:
You will notice that my title is now a cardinal. Today was the that there was a short ceremony where I gave the oath to the Church. My family were there except my brother. He explained that he had better things to do. My parents were very proud of me. To be honest, I was proud of myself. I also think it showed how flawed the Church is. What I mean by this is that a cardinal is a very high position and usually a man who is very devoted and has a special and strong faith. I had neither of those. I would be moving to the Vatican and doing some administration work there. Maybe faith was not needed to do this job. If there was a God, what did he want of me? Why would he want me to be a cardinal when there are so many others who are better qualified?

Andrew:
Statistics came out today that the crime rate is skyrocketing. It's not a small bit either. It has become a major problem. Crime has gone up. Rape has gone up. People are being attacked and even murdered. The list goes on and on. The amount of papers and cases on my desk is in huge piles. The amount I used to get in a decade is now what I get in a week. There was no way that I could investigate everything. I sorted the cases every day according to what I thought was important. When I saw a case that was because someone was naive or stupid or did not bother defending themselves, I ignored it. People have to learn how to stand up for themselves and not trust anyone. The victims are usually weak people and one of nature's golden rules is that weak people do not survive. People have to realize that Batman does not exist, they have to take control of their own lives and not let others hurt them.

Father Darby:
I am happy that my friend is now a cardinal. His ambition has worked and he is now there where he planned. I will also admit that I am confused and jealous. I know that this is bad, but I am only human. The Pope himself had appointed Cardinal O'Keeffe and there must be a reason for this. Still, I know that he does not have faith and he does not have compassion. I have every quality needed to be a cardinal, but will never be more than a parish priest. Maybe there is a reason for this. Pride is one of the seven deadly sins, and I am guilty of this. I will accept God's will and be happy for Cardinal O'Keeffe. Besides this, I think I am more needed by my parishioners than in some Vatican offices.

Chloe:
I am now in the hospital after I have been attacked by a group of young teenagers. I was walking home from a shopping trip and 4 teenagers attacked me. One of them looked as if he was not even a teenager yet. They knocked me to the ground and started hitting and kicking me. They took my wallet and my purchases. The worst thing was not so much that I was mugged, it was that people walked by me as I was on the ground in agony and pain. They did not care about me. I suppose this was now a common scene for many people. My brother visited me. He wanted a description of the teenagers. I could not give one. I disappointed him when I told him the teenagers were not foreigners. I think he was hoping they would be a Muslim group or children of refugees. My brother did not even ask how I was.

VTT Global News:
A new report was released that the public has no trust in confidence in the government. People do not believe that the government can do anything about the many problems that the country is facing. This is not just our country, it is all over the world. Some political analysts said that society is breaking down and collapsing. This is causing fear all over the world. Most people are afraid of what world the next generation will live in.
In other news, Israel has started bombing the Palestinians. This is in response to terror attacks against Israel. The bombing is the worst in Palestinian history and the death casualties are very high. This includes children and old people. This bombing is expected to last for a long time, despite that many countries are calling for a ceasefire. On top of the bombing, Israel has denied any humanitarian help to enter Palestine.
