02 • just why?

[ A/N POV ]

Yn looked at yoongi, her tearful eyes deeply looking into his painful orbs

"That's the reason you've been worrying about all this time?" She said understanding why he has been avoiding his feelings for her

Scoffing she said "i have loved you, as you are...." Then she looked at her father "and I'll still love him father, whatever he is, I loved his inside, and i know he's not a monster... He could never hurt me nor anyone" she said with confidence and trust in her voice yet that went unnoticed to her father

"Soldiers! Take him to the main prison and make sure he doesn't escape, RIGHT NOW!" he said commanding the soldiers without giving a care to his daughter's words

"Father please! I beg you! Please you know him right?! You know he won't do such terrible things, so why are you doing this?" She says breaking down, begging her own father

"And also restrict the princess from stepping out of her chambers" he says without looking at his daughter

Why does it have to be us oh god! Why.... Yn prays with her cries, locked in her chambers commanded by her very own father is hurting her too much

As Yn is in her broken state, her mother enters, yn ran towards her mother and hugs her, her mother slowly patting her back unable to accept her daughter's state

"Mother, please help me, i love him...." Yn says to her mother, hoping at least she will listen to her pleadings

"Your father is going to kill him tonight at the eternamente forest..." Her mother said the most hurting words to yn, which just felt like stabs in yn's heart

"quid fecimus tibi, deus meus? QuorSum haec poena nobis!"
Translation: what have we done to you, my god! Why this punishment for us!
Cried her soul out, Never in her life, she begged the heavens like this nor cried like she's going to die, her love for him is like that

"Why do you love him that much?" The broken mother asked her daughter seeing her vulnerability over one person like it's her own flesh and soul

"I just love him mother.... When I was going through crisis, unknowingly he healed my Little heart which was bleeding... He healed something he didn't break" warm tears, forced smile, tired eyes, scattered soul, that's yn right now

"Yn... As your mother, i wish for your well being so can't you just forget about him?" Her mother said knowing well enough they will hurt her more, she jerked away from her mother

"Don't say those words mother, I can lose myself instead of him... You know how much he means to me, so please don't, don't hurt me like this" yn said after calming down deciding something in her mind to make them possible

"But..." Her mother stopped her sentence after observing yn's facial expressions "what is it?" Asking with curiosity about what her daughter is now concluded towards

"Mother, Can you help me?" She asked her mother with full of hope in her little reddish eyes

"If it's going to make you happy I'll help you, just promise me that you will be safe and go far away from the kingdom because you know how cruel your father can be?" Yn mother said knowing well enough her father isn't merciful

After awhile of thinking deep hard she nodded her heart even though there's still pain in her heart on leaving her parents, she needs him more and he needs her more than anyone ever could

Yn told her mother about her plan and her mother agreed to help her which yn was grateful for

[ YN POV ]

I disguised myself as one of the servants and came out of the palace towards my horse with success I hopped unto My brownish, silky haired beauty (horse)

Now, I'll grab the chance and get out of the back gate while my mom distracts the guards by shouting like she's in danger from the other side of the garden so that I won't be caught while escaping, at least in these storms, I have my mother to help me sail my boat, all is left is for me and yoongi is to overcome the heavy, hard wind and finally meet the shore faraway from the grief and pain... Him, alone is who I want

[ YOONGI POV ]

Right now I'm all tied with rops around my hands and legs, blindfolded. They are dragging me somewhere, it's smell is full of cyclamens, the eternamente forest, for what? Of course, to kill me. If god exists please... Let me see her once please before I go

[ AN POV ]

"Before assassination, Would you like a wish to be granted?" Said the general who was assigned to put yoongi to his forever sleep

"I want to see yn, will you grant me that wish? No" he said coldly knowing that they won't let him see her

"You are aware of the rules very well" he said letting out a chuckle mixed with pity and cruelty

The general took out a paring knife and aimed it at yoongi's arm, a loud groan escaped his mouth, the general came forward and took out the knife with absolute force, soon in seconds the wound was healed

"HAHAHA! THIS IS SO FUN!" the cruel creature, general, laughed in satisfaction to his pain, the other soldiers except for few laughed along with him

And the king said, yoongi is a monster, then how is the general no far from monster? Some are blamed for nothing but some are praised for everything even if it's wrong, that's just how the world revolves

Yoongi being unable to untie himself because of the wood kept in those ropes, jerk a little, pain will occur, how can he get her? Will his life end like this? All those unwanted thoughts spiralling around his mind

Later on, the general took a wooden knife and pointed it towards yoongi's heart, eyes filled with evilness, he threw it at yoongi, yoongi unable to accept their ill-fate shut his eyes behind those blindfold ready to face it with utter darkness but instead of feeling the pain he felt a body collapsing before him soon everyone gasped and shouted "PRINCESS!"
