"You might want to change your rubber shoes into something more comfortable." He suggested.

And now that he talks about it. Yup, it is kind of uncomfortable, especially that we just travelled for about three hours. He then helped me open the luggages for my comfortable flat sandals. It was easy to find it because I packed my things properly.

I was supposed to untie my shoelaces but then he kneeled in front of me and started doing it himself. I was quite stunned for a moment as I looked at the back of his head. This is what Joaquin always does.

Napangiti ako ng wala sa oras.

I laughed a little. "Mabaho paa ko."

He then looked up to me with a smirk on his face. He even massaged my feet after which made me feel better.

I looked at his hands as he did it meticulously and lightly, his touch is so light and careful. Ilang saglit pa ay natapos rin ito. I looked at my feet with my flats on and was satisfied with it. He knows how to operate sandals with a strap, huh?

And they are obviously waiting for us to come out. Their eyes won't hide that fact.

"Oh! Kakain na kayo? Can we eat with you guys?" Ate Sam stood up and looked at us hopefully.

Wala namang masama. "Pwede---"

"No. I reserved a private room only for us." El's cold and heavy words interrupted me.

I almost gasped at him. His words are not that rude but his tone and delivery made it worse. He was harsh and brutal.

Kaagad na nawala ng ngiti ni Ate Sam, while I looked at her hesitantly. Napalitan na iyon ng pagkadismaya.

"We need to go." El bid his goodbye and I wasn't able to do anything anymore as he reached for my hand.

He dragged me and later on, I felt his fingers occupying the spaces between my fingers. He intertwined our fingers as we exited our unit.

"El...that was rude."

He did not looked back at me and continued to drag me towards the elevator.

Well...it is comfortable...because Joaquin always does this too. And again, his touch does not offend me.

The elevator opened and we both entered. My eyes settled on him because he didn't answer me yet.

Then he breathes in deeply like he my stares bothered him . "I reserved a room just for us. Only for us. Not for other people, Lenikah." Again, he is too strict and serious.

Napalabi ako. He has a lot of friends at school and he knows how to go with the flow. So I am actually quite taken aback how cold and serious he is in the past days that we are together.

He ordered variety of seafood for us. I remained concentrated on my food because I was too hungry, habang panay naman ang pagbalat niya sa mga kakainin ko.

"This is enough." I stopped him after giving the shrimp.

I was full after our lunch at gusto ko na lang matulog, but again, he strictly warned me that it is not good to sleep after eating.
