3-The Wedding-1

[Hope rolled out of bed only to hear a knock at her door, she opens it and sees Pepper, who walks in.]

Pepper Potts: Are you okay?

Hope Jarvis: Yeah sure "okay" cause that's what I'd call throwing up almost all night.

Lily's brows furrow in confusion at that.

Pepper Potts: Did you drink anything last night?

Hope Jarvis: No, as soon as we arrived and checked in I crashed.

Jane and her god-sister shared looks, smiles she was pregnant Hope was pregnant.

Pepper Potts: Hmm. So what we doing today, I mean we have six days before the wedding.

Hope Jarvis: Start preparing the reception, then do fun stuff.

Pepper Potts: Right, see downstairs at breakfast?

Hope Jarvis: Yeah, I gotta stop by the reception first.

[Pepper nods and leaves. Hope sighs as she closes her door, her eyes land on a picture, her and Charlotte, she frowns and throws it out the window before heading to the reception.]

"You must really hate her" said Natasha softly.

"I do" said Hope as she snuggled into Tony's chest.

Receptionist: Hello Miss Jarvis, can I help you?

Hope Jarvis: Yes, I don't have internet access to my room is there a way to fix that?

Receptionist: Yes, I'll make sure someone gets right onto it.

Hope Jarvis: Thank you.

[Hope heads to breakfast, seating herself beside Tony.]

Hope Jarvis: Anyone order the pancakes yet?

Tony Stark: Mhm.

"You already knew the answer to that" said Tony.

"Oh well" said Hope shrugging.

Hope Jarvis: Good. Anyone ask for maple sirup?

James Rhodes: Yeah.

"You two know me so well" said Hope smiling.

Hope Jarvis: Good.

[Someone brings over the tea, Hope fakes a smile as she sees someone out the corner of her eye, an old man walks in, his eyes lock with Tony's and Hope's before landing on the ring on Hope's finger, he walks off.]

Hope, Tony, Pepper and Rhodey frown seeing the man.

Pepper Potts: Who was that?

James Rhodes: Charlotte's father.

Pepper Potts: Am I supposed to know who that is?

James Rhodes: We don't talk about Charlotte.

"That pretty much summed it up." said Pepper "well somewhat anyway" said Hope.

Pepper Potts: (Scowling) Okay, we have two practice weddings.

Hope Jarvis: One today and one a day before the wedding.

"I looked at the timetable and memorised it" said Hope before Tony could ask.

Pepper Potts: Why do they insist on bringing me along? You have everything in hand.

Hope Jarvis: You're dating Rhodey, so yeah.

Pepper Potts: Gimme a better excuse than that.

"I'm hurt Pepper" said Rhodey jokingly.

Hope Jarvis: You're my best friend.

Tony Stark: Hey! I thought I was your best friend.

"Of course" said Hope with a smile

Hope Jarvis: I can have more than one best friend dumbass.

"True" said Natasha.

Tony Stark: Hope, you've wounded me.

Hope Jarvis: Good to know.

Tony Stark: I have a question.

Hope Jarvis: Mhm.

Tony Stark: Would you kiss my best friend to save my life?

"I'm still sure you were hung over" said Hope.

"Then again he does ask dumb questions" said Rhodey.

Hope nods in agreement.

[Hope grabs a newspaper and flicks through.]

Hope Jarvis: Depends.

Tony Stark: On what?

Hope Jarvis: Whether you've annoyed me. Plus Rhodey's my best friend, tad bit weird no offence Rhodey.

James Rhodes: None taken, I agree with Hoppy over there.

"Hoppy?" asked Lily.

"Blame Tony" said Hope.

Hope Jarvis: (Mouthing) Hoppy? (To Rhodey) Like the nickname Tones gave me when I was like three?

"Why though?" asked Natasha.

James Rhodes: Yeah, Tones told me.

[Hope turns to Tony.]

Hope Jarvis: I will throw something at your head if you say that nickname to anyone else.

"That would be fun to watch" said Clint trying not to laugh.

Tony Stark: It's your fault, you're the one who loved the zoingo boingo toys.

"That's what there called" said Tony and Hope in sync.

Hope Jarvis: I was three.

[A woman walks over hoping for a photo with Tony.]

Woman: Hi, do you mind?

Tony Stark: Yes I do, I'm debating with my fiancée.

"I love how you just openly say it" said Natasha.

"Well they've put it in the news, Stark wedding party staying at the Hampton Inn or whatever the inn was called" said Hope.

[Hope's brows furrowed seeing the woman she looked like, Elizabeth, Charlotte's sister.]

Hope Jarvis: Elizabeth, how's Charlotte? Still telling her parents people forced themselves on her?

This got raised eyebrows.

Elizabeth: We don't talk, we stopped talking after what she said to Dad about you. Lying bitch.

"What did she do?" asked Jane.

"Nothing nice" said Hope.

Hope Jarvis: Good, you're welcome to join us.

Elizabeth: No, but thank you.

Hope Jarvis: Welcome (see her pancakes) ooh, pancakes.

"You went full child mode then" said Tony.

[The four sat talking and laughing, neither noticing the blonde in the doorway watching, especially Hope, the blonde woman is Charlotte hoping to get Hope to fall in love with her again.]

Hope frowns, Tony and Rhodey look confused how could none of them notice?
