Chapter 3: I'm scared

Can't sleep, can't t sleep, can't sleep...

I can't sleep.

I'm scared, I heard the squeaking of something outside my bedroom window. It made my stomach churn, clutching my stomach in pain. The winds blowing didn't help. The slight sound of far off cars, why's anyone driving a car at 3:42am anyways?

Me and Michael watched a horror movie earlier today, I guess that was a bad move considering I'm scared shitless right now.

Maybe I should just go one my phone? No, what would I do then...? 

I simply went onto genshin, hoping to see my new friend online. I mean, Japan is 7 hours ahead of Germany...so he should be in 10:45, around school time.

Loging onto the game, hugging my pillow close to me. I wanted some comfort right around now. I opened my friends list, just to see he was in fact online. When is this guy offline? But that's not the point, I opened my messages with him, typing in a small greeting.

"Hello?" I heard his voice from the other end.

"Um, hi." I felt like waving on instinct, even though he wouldn't be able to see it.

"You voice is pretty." Blushing a deep red I hide my face in my pillow. His voice is prettier than mine. 

"Thank you...your voice is pretty too..." I lay down, getting comfortable on my bed.

"You're a lot more awkward than on text." 

'Is he...is he calling me out?'

"Hey! It's just I realised I'm on call to a guy who I don't even know the name of."

"Oh, I'm Nagi Seishiro."

"Okay, since you told me your name might as well tell you mind."

I heard him hum slightly from a the other end, god his voice is pretty.

"Kaiser Noel, and it's been a while since I spoke Japanese I think you guys use last names at first. So feel free to call me my first name, but whatever you're comfortable with."

"I'll call you Noel, so you can call me Seishiro."

"Okay..."

"So how did your day go yesterday?" It sounds like he's trying to make conversation with me, I mean we didn't have a lot to talk about.

"Mmm, yesterday at school there was like a fight over a girl. But not one of those stereotypical ones, it's was my best friend fighting her boyfriend. Because, my friend really liked her and her boyfriend is like, a prick to her..." I continued on with my story with him just listening, sometimes he would comment on small parts but not much.

"Hey...Seishiro, I think I can sleep now."

"You're going to sleep now?"

"Yeah, goodnight..."

"Night."
