It tooks me seconds to get back in reality when the teacher announced my name.

"Ahm sir. Excuse me." Agaw atensyon ko sa teacher while raising my hand respectfully, pati tuloy ibang mga classmates ko at pati na si molly ay napatingin sa gawi ko.

"Yes Ms. Azur?" Walang kaide ideya si sir sa plano ko.

Ngiting-ngiti at tila hindi makabasag pinggan ay tumayo ako, " Sir suggestion lang po sana, it would be best if I am to be partnered with Modesto po."

Kumunot sandali ang noo ni sir, Cley fighting! Do your best!

"Why is that Cley?" Maayos namang tanong ni sir. Not doubting anything.

"Well sir, Modesto is a new student here medyo wala pa siyang kakilala at baka hindi pa siya komportable sa magiging kapartner niya, mahihirapan lang po silang dalawa lalo pa po at this activity isn't just ordinary at need ng brainstorm talaga, so bilang ako naman po ang nag-a-assist sa kanya this past few days, baka mas makatulong po ako."

"Ow I see Cley, I understand your intention and thank you for reminding me. I let you two to partner up but next week Mr. Modesto you need to associate with the other na din ha?"

I calmly took my sit and eyed Mon, then smile to the professor.

"Sir, there is no need. Thank you Cley but really there's no need though I appreciate it a lot. Pero sir I can handle this." Paninigurado ni Mon kay sir, bwisit na mon to.

"Naah it's fine." Nakangiting sagot ko rito.

Kung hindi ka lang gwapo, pati boses mo, sus hindi kita pag-e-effortan.

"No Monriad, it's okay. Cley would be a great help to you but next week for sure I will let you on your own. Understand?" Eyeing Monriad and can't help but to agree.

Ngiting tagumpay ako syempre, anong saysay ng pagiging matalino ko kung hindi ko magagamit.

Molly simply gesture a thumbs up and I mouthed him 'Basic' matching it with very mahangin look and playful grin.

Wearing my sweetest smile I look at Mon who have this unexplainable expression. Halata rito ang pagkairita at masasama ang mga matang ibinato sa akin.

I shrugged it off, the feeling is not mutual yet but soon.

After the professor finished announcing the names, agad kami nitong inutusan to sit with our group to discuss about the activity and decide who will do things. May twenty minutes pa namang natitira bago matapos ang klase kaya't hindi na muna kami nito pinayagang lumabas.

Muli ay tumingin ako sa may gawi ni Mon na wala atang balak umalis sa kinauupuan.

To make it short, just maybe, gusto niyang ako ang pumunta sa may gawi niya.

No problem at all. Lalo pa at twenty minutes with him is like forever na for me, a-arte pa ba ako?

"Hi." Bati ko dito ng makalapit ako. But he answered me with his silence.

Pagkaupo ko ay agad kong inilabas ang papel at ballpen para ilista ang mga dapat naming gawin at pag-usapan kung paano hahatiin ang parte ng bawat isa.
