Currently, Kiri was sat in the living room with Neteyam and Tuk who were watching TV.
Kiri was on her new laptop, on Zoom, talking with her best friend, Miles.
"So...are those people in that private school real uptight?" Miles asked.
"They're ok, although there is still a lot of cultural differences" Kiri chuckled softly.
"No shit! I bet they be callin' everythin' the opposite way" Miles laughed.
"Yeah..." Kiri said softly.
"You ok Ri? You look down. Did somethin' happen?" Miles asked, looking concerned for his best friend.
"Huh? Why you say that?" Kiri blinked, confused to why Miles would ask that.
"You just seem...a little distant" The blonde teen mentioned.
"Oh, I'm ok, seriously" Kiri smiled.
"You sure?" Miles asked again.
"Yessss. Now! Tell me what's going on in Detroit? How is everyone?" Kiri brushed off.
"We're all good. Deshawn recently won a match. Although the moral of the team was low after Teyam left, they managed to pick back up" Miles smiled.
"That's great! I'll be sure to tell Teyam"
"Yup, you can tell him to stop worrying about Shawn all the time" Miles chuckled.
