The first morning at Wyndham Academy arrived with the soft light of dawn filtering through our dormitory window. I woke up to the gentle rustling of leaves outside, a reminder that we were not in an ordinary school anymore.

Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I noticed that Isabella was already up, sitting cross-legged on the floor with a potted plant in front of her. Mirabelle's eyes twinkled, and she motioned for us to sit by the crackling fire. "Ah, I thought you might have questions. "Threats?" I asked, intrigued and slightly concerned.
