Grace's POV
I feel so guilty having to tell Will that I chose Adley. I watched the game go on, Will did great and hit a homer, James hit his first career Grand slam. I was so happy to see the dodgers win. The ended and it was time to break the news to win, Gosh I feel so horrible for doing this to him but I have to I love Adley. I went to the dugout but I saw James first. " Hey James congratulates on your first Grand Slam," I said. " Hey thanks Grace, I didn't know you gonna be here," James said. " Yea Chicago is my hometown," I said. " I gotta go talk to Will," I said. " Oh yea he'll thrilled you're here," James said smiling. he won't be so thrill when I tell him the news. I went over to Will, who was smiling, Oh God, that precious sweet smile is about to disappear. " Hey, Will," I said. " Grace, you're here," Will said still smiling. " Yea, I came to see you guys play in Chicago and see my parents," I said. " Well, I'm happy to see you, Grace," Will said. " Me too, Will," I said. I started to tearing up and crying , " Hey, Hey, What's wrong," Will asked. " Will, There's something I have to tell you," I said.

Will's POV
I was really worried, " What is it, Grace," I asked. " I made the decision on who I wanted to be with," She said still crying. Then I could already tell who she chose. " You chose Adley," I said. " Yes, Will, I'm so sorry, it has been eating me up all day, you are such a great guy, you are so sweet and caring," She said. It did hurt to know that I wasn't the one she loved, but I saw the chemistry between her and Adley. I hugged her and she cried, she hugged me tightly. " It does hurt to know it wasn't me, but you followed your heart, and I hope Adley treats you like the Queen you are, cuz if he doesn't I have no problem in doing that," I said. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears, I wiped them away, " I still love you, even it's not me you chose," I said then kissed her forehead. " I'm sorry it can't be me, Will, I hope you do find someone who will love you and cherish you," She said. " Adley is one lucky guy" I said.

Grace's POV
" You'll be lucky one day too, Will," I said. Well i better get back to my parents house," I said. I saw the change in Will's face, I saw The heartbroken look in his face and his eyes. I left Wrigley field feeling bad, but I had to do it, I decided to text to Gunnar first

Grace 🖤: Hey Gunnar

Gunnar 😁: Hey Gracie what's up ?

Grace 🖤: Adley and I are officially dating and I told Will about it.

Gunnar 😁: How did Will take it ?

Grace 🖤: I can tell he was heartbroken, and I cried because of how bad I felt telling him

Gunnar 😁: That's the love you had for him, you still loved him enough to make it hard to tell  him, but part of loving someone or something is letting them go

Gunnar 😁: But you now have an amazing boyfriend who you know will take care of you, Cherish you and most importantly will love you

It really does feel good when I have a best friend like Gunnar, this wouldn't be happening without him.
