Karan was annoyed, he just needed a day break & he felt it was too much to ask for due to his good-for-nothing managing team.
He sat beside her with his cup and kept looking at her designs, her concentration on deciding the colour for the dress design impressed him, and she looked at him to see him gazing at her designs.
Karan: have you ever thought of taking a career as a designer?
She was taken aback at his question but nodded,
Teju: I did, I wanted to take up this as a parallel career, but with Baba being sick and Prateek needing funds for his college, I had to drop the plan for the time being & I sketch whenever I Have free time.
He nodded at her and replied,
Karan: I have a plan, but let me first discuss it with Raj.
She nodded with a confused face,
Teju: Shall I heat the food? It's almost lunchtime
He nodded,
Karan: I need to go to the office for some work as my team is already working today on a deal, what are your plans?
Teju: nothing except dinner with the co-stars.
Karan: I will be late I guess but I will pick you up once I am done, Is it okay?
And the devil inside her mind did a little dance,
Teju: but they don't know about you being my family friend no,
Karan: I will just wait for you out inside the car.
Teju nodded with a sweet and devilish smile: okay sunny.
Her smile scared him, he understood that she was up to something. He sighed knowing his little baby was plotting something in her mind,
He ruffled her hair and said,
Karan: Heat the lunch, baby, I will dress up and come.
She nodded and left for the kitchen, they had their lunch & he was set to go to the office.
Karan: Please stay safe. Kaka will pick you up & tell him to leave after I come, okay? And for god sake, please, don't get into trouble.
She glared at him while he hugged her and left not before kissing her forehead.
Soon it was evening & she got ready in an outfit that would fail all the plans that Karan made to avoid being near her & she smirked at herself, took a picture & sent it to him,

Teju reached the place in an hour & thanks to the "OG Mumbai Traffic", she quickly rushed not before informing Kaka about leaving a little while later only to know that Karan already said it to him, Kaka also said
Kaka: Baba ke aate hi mein nikal jaunga madam!
She nodded and waved him a quick bye & went in with a smile.
She went near the table that Hello texted and was caught off guard with a scream but started hitting the person the moment she realised it was none other than Namish,
Teja: We all know that you are mentally not stable so there's no need to prove.
He rolled his eyes murmuring chudail while she hugged everyone & settled down.
Helly: So what's up teju darling, looking hot eh?
Teju: kuch tho nahi, and I am born hot miss!
Everybody scoffed listening to her while she laughed at their faces. They continued to tease each other & had a good time.
Karan's POV:
Uff, What a tiring Sunday. I just want to jump into my bed & sleep for 8-9 hours straight, not before picking up the goofball. She thinks she's a player but it Looks like I will have to show my other side to my naughty kitten. After lots of struggle I have reached here, should I go in to meet her or should I wait for her in the car? No, I will go in,
And with that, he went inside after giving his car to the valet parking, and when he saw the scene in front of him, he cursed himself because there she was laughing and looking like the cutest baby but what made him mad was one of the boys who was touching her shoulder continuously and setting her hairs, all his irrational thoughts were back & he knew what he should do. He went and stood near their table, Helly noticed him and stood up to greet him,
Helly: Hi Karan Sir, how are you! are you here with friends?
He was shocked by her bold behaviour & Teju was shocked listening to Karan sir from Helly, Teju looked up and saw his face stern & his eyes were glaring at her. Karan saw her and replied to Helly,
Karan: Hi, you can call me Karan! Yes, I am waiting for my friend here.
Varun & Namish greeted him to which he politely replied them back,
Varun: It's nice to see you again Karan Bhai, Are you waiting for Raj sir?
Karan was surprised to hear bhai from him, He gave a smile to him and nodded a no,
Karan: I am here to pick up sweetie and he turned towards Teju, sweetie if you are done shall we leave, I am sleepy and tired.
Everyone stared at him, one with wonder while others with shock & amidst all this Karan turned to Namish and smirked at him,
Karan: I am waiting, come quickly, Saying this he left.
All three of them turned towards Teju with a questioning gaze.
She stood shocked, did he just throw her under the bus,
Teju's POV:
yeh sunny ko kya hua, bappa maar ke rakhungi is ladke ko. ghar jaate hi dad aur bhaiyu ko complaint na karun tho dekhlo sunny, tum tho gaye. abb yeh sab ko kya bolun.
She nervously said,
Teju: Guys abb mein jaati hun, I will explain everything tomorrow, I promise. Abb pata nahi kyun sunny, I mean Karan kyun gusse mein hein, before he takes up this entire place on the head, Let me go.
Helly: Yeah yeah, take care & remember we aren't done talking miss.
she rolled her eyes and nodded while the boys hugged her & whispered a quick take care.
She was nervous now, she knew he would kill her after he saw her picture but he just gave her a heart attack. she quickly went out to see he was waiting for her, she quickly got into the car and looked at him while he was controlling his temper.
Karan: Shut your mouth and stay silent till we go home.
