Once I finally made it back to my house, I immediately smelt two different smells. One I've smelt before.... It's really familiar.. But from where..? This smell gives me chills down my back. Though the other smell smells like fresh grass and nice fresh clean air. I walked in and took off my shoes, I sniffed the air so they are both werewolves. Sometimes werewolves have human mates, it's really rare though. "Chase, I made roast beef with mashed potatoes."
I glanced in the room where there all sitting, I took an inward gasp they look like a real family... Oh that's right mom can read my thoughts, think about dogs. Ever since I've been little I've been able to block out people from reading my thoughts if I wanted to. I'm the only werewolf known that can do this. I can also sometimes if I'm really angry put something on fire when I want to. No one but me knows about all of those things.... They do look like a real family with the alpha and mom holding hands and smiling lovingly at ether. And that other guy.... He looks really young... Like he looks 16 or 17 damn.
"Chase?" Mom brought me out of my thoughts with a look of concern, "sorry I was thinking about how good the food looks" I lied. She smiled and said thanks, I'm surprised she bought that. I sat down and glanced the alpha and his son. Is a 17 year old really taking over? I don't like the alpha... I'm not getting a good feeling from him. But as long as moms happy I'm happy.
Something interesting about me is that I can block them out and think about other stuff at the same time. I studied the alpha's son... He has ocean blue eyes with black hair. As I looked at him, we accidentally made eye contact. I felt my pulse quicken, He's making me nervous by looking at me.
I don't sense any bad feelings from him, but I'm still going to keep my distance.
I quickly finished my dinner and without saying anything to my mom I went to my bedroom.
3 hours later.........
I was interrupted by the sound of a loud knock, so I put my weight set down and turned my music off. I opened the door "listen I know there's something s-" "I don't like you or your father I just want my mom happy so I'm not your brother." I said coldly before turning to my weight set. "You just disrespected me, you have guts boy" he said staring at me. "Your not alpha yet so I can" I muttered. "Plus I think I'm older than you" I growled at him. "How old are you?" He asked me, "I'm eighteen years old" I told him. "I'm 24 years old, I just get my looks from my mother..." He mumbled.
"Can you get out? I have to work out." I said rudely to him, while he just looked at me in shock. I'm not afraid of him.... Just because he's older than me doesn't mean he can order me around. He studied me, I saw him glance at my neckless around my neck but he didn't say anything. I subconsciously grabbed my neckless, it's been with me for a long time as long as I could remember it's always been around my neck except when I'm in the shower. "Where did you get the neckless...?" He asked me.
"I've always had it....why?" I suspiciously growled. "I feel like I've seen it before, I'm William"He put his hand out. I was uneasy about shaking his hand.... "Come on I won't hurt you." He reassured me, I nodded and shook his hand. I felt electric tingles go down my spine, "I'm Chase..." I introduced myself to him. This is getting awkward...... "Alright w-" "Chase honey, there's something I need to tell you." My mom thought to me. "One second" I muttered to William and walked downstairs.
"Sweetie we are moving to Darren's pack and packhouse, so you need to pack your stuff also your moving schools and when w-" "WAIT WHAT?!!!!" I screamed angrily.
Mom looked shocked for moment, I'd be too... I've never growled/screamed like that before. I was suddenly slapped really hard that I fell to the ground, "DON'T EVER SPEAK TO MY MATE LIKE THAT AGAIN BITCH!" Darren snarled/ordered. I've heard him speak like that before....but I don't remember.
I glanced at my mom but she just had a neutral expression, I nodded and went back up to my room. I can't believe my own fucking mother didn't say anything about what he did!!! Most people are afraid of alpha's but for some reason I'm not. "What are you still doing in here..." I said tiredly. "Until you and your mom come to our house, I'm sleeping here" He explained to me. "Wait.... Did you bring a bed?" I questioned, he shook his head. I sighed, "Alright take my bed I'll take the floor" I told him. "No it's your house I'll take the floor!" He exclaimed. "Fine we'll share a bed!!" I said annoyed, "isn't that what mates do.." He said awkwardly. "We are not mates! This is just a compulated situation." I growled at him, I turned off the light and crawled into the bed. I felt him crawl into the bed as well, I can feel my pulse racing again.
"U-Um Chase.." He mumbled, "yes?" I whispered in annoyance. "I can't sleep without a teddy bear... My dad doesn't know about it, he thinks men are weak when they show vulnerability..." William whispered. "You can cuddle me.." I
mumbled beginning to fall asleep. I felt him wrap his arms around my waist and pull me closer. I was beginning to see darkness.............
