Lost.
Alessia hadn't taken her eyes off Lammy and her group, yet it's clear that they had vanished, as much as they were.
After the first session with Frost, Alessia had joined Lammy and her friends to play in the city center. However, the streets were wider and more crowded than she had expected. Flevance was teeming with tourists, and Lammy's hand slipped away between an overweight man in a green suit and a stroller pulled by an overwhelmed young mom.
She would have asked passersby where the hospital was, but she hadn't brought her notebook so as not to be burdened when Lammy informed her that they were going to play Freeze Tag.
She therefore decided to figure it out on her own and used her Haki. By catching Gian or Leora's voices, it was obvious she would find her way to the hospital.
Or so she thought.
Unfortunately, her Haki only indicated their position, and Alessia was quite bothered as she encountered several dead ends on her way. On the fourteenth and as the sun was setting, she lost her composure when a child's voice called out to her.
"What are you doing?"
Alessia turned towards him.
Under the orange glow, she could spot a boy with a white hat adorned with strange spots and a ridiculous tie.
He looked like a mushroom, but Alessia was too upset to joke about it. She tapped her foot, pointed the facade that stood between her and the point she wanted to reach.
Law met her gaze before flashing an amused smile.
"And do you think getting angry at a wall will help you find your way?"
She felt the urge to strangle him with his smug look but held back for Lammy's sake, who seemed to appreciate her elder brother.
Against all odds, Law stopped teasing and extended his hand, locking his gaze with hers.
