I hate crowded places.

It's hard to be at ease in front of so many people when you can hear a fly buzzing a mile away.

In the auction room, different social classes take their places one by one.

The auctions are open to world nobles as much as to outlaws, and although people don't usually mix, everyone can sit on the velvet seats that are lined up here.

Only the rows of world nobles stand out; they're always free, whatever the circumstances, even when none of them are gracing us with their presence.

In the middle of the left-hand row, I've completely erased my presence, to such an extent that the people next to me have just placed their bags on my thighs, convinced that my seat is free.

Rayleigh has always acknowledged my pickpocketing potential, but my goal was to have a quiet life while I waited for Law to enter the New World, and robbing other people is far from a suitable job.

Besides, I'm not infallible, especially when a pirate of a certain calibre has a fairly well-developed observation haki.

I never managed to escape Rayleigh's guard.
