We were running away, or my friends were. I was flying, clearly in the lead.
"Your Enutrof instincts are really getting out of hand, Ruel!" Evangelos yelled.
"How was I to know these horrible knickknacks belonged to them?!" Ruel ran, out of breath.
Arrows were flying in our direction, I look back and dodged them while flying backwards.
'Thank Sadida I took flying lessons..' I thought.
The group that was shooting the arrows chased after us, they were giant orcs. Of course Ruel had to anger them..
"Maybe next time, you should ask before you take something!" I yelled to the old man behind me.
We ran down the hill, I noticed that the orcs stopped chasing us.
"Why have they stopped following us?" Evangelos asked.
"STOP!" I hear Amalia yell and I freeze, landing on the grass.
"Do not move a muscle!" She continued.
"A demonic Rose patch! Don't let them close in."
I noticed dark red roses around us, they seemed normal but I took Amalia's word for it.
"One bite and you'll go crazy for sure. Or worse, you'll die." Amalia explained.
I hear quiet whispers, then some growling.
I notice eyes appear on the flowers, then they started to close in on us.
I noticed a log leading to the other side..
"Guys, run that way!" I pointed toward the log, before running across.
I hear Amalia scream, I turned around swiftly. I then hear Evangelos yell, my heart dropped to my stomach as I see my friend lying on the ground unresponsive.
"Yugo!" Ruel said, with wide eyes.
"I got it!" Yugo said before summoning a portal on our side and another on the other side where Amalia lay.
