Chapter 25

Hunter's pov
Today is the day I am going to propose to Amara, I'm really nervous, I've called all our friends and family, and I also called my secretary to pick up my suit and Amara's dress.

I still can't believe I'm going to marry the love of my life.

For now I'll act normal and invite her to dinner so she doesn't suspect anything.

I heard someone enter the house and saw my baby girl come into my office.

"How are you my love" I asked her

"Fine, and you" she asked me

"Happy to see you, you left too early and I didn't get to give you kisses" I said.

"I'm sorry love, I went shopping and I needed to buy the mangos from the fruit store before they ran out" she said.

"Ahhh ok, today love I wanna take you to dinner at this new restaurant, the owner is a good friend of mine and he is an incredible chef." I said

"Wow, well that's nice, it's been a while since we've been out" she said.

"And don't worry about dresses, I've already taken care of that and it will be here in an hour". I said

"Thanks love, apparently you were reading my mind because this week I was going to the mall to buy a couple of clothes and shoes" she said.

"Tomorrow if you want, we can go shopping for you and our baby and while we're at it we can go to the movies and see the new Taylor Perry movie, they say it's pretty good" I said.

"I love the idea and I really like that you are giving me so much attention" she said.

"This is very little of what you deserve, just know that next to me you are going to be a queen" I said.

"I love you" she said to me

"I love you more" I said

"Well, I'm going to fix you something to eat, because I know you'll be starving" I said.

"How well you know me, because when I was at the market, I swear I was going to eat the fridge that was full of ice cream" she said

"Would you like some lasagna" I asked her.

"I didn't know,  you could do lasagna" she said

"Yes, my Nonna, taught me how to make it" I said.

"What is a nonna" she asked me

"Nonna, it means Grandmother" I said to her.

"You have to teach me how to speak in Italian" she said to me.

"That's a good idea, because when we go on vacation to visit my family, some of them are going to say something to you in Italian and I want you to be able to answer them with something simple so that they will be flabbergasted" I said chuckling

"I assure you, they are going to be so amazed with my Italian, they will even wonder if I was born there" she said

"The only thing is that love, I want to warn you of one thing, I have a cousin who always tries to flirt with every woman in this world so if he tries to flirt with you and he ends up with a broken nose, just know that he brought it on himself" I said

"Please baby I don't want you to fighting any of your family members for me, and don't worry I'm not going to let that cousin of yours get close to me"

"Alright, but I'm not promising anything, I'm going to go make you lunch" I said.

"Love what color is the dress, so I'll see what shoes I'm going to wear it with".  She said
