The next morning Jaheem was sitting in a jail cell waiting for somebody to give him some type of information because the night he was arrested they brought him to an interrogation room and questioned him, but he didn't answer anything the only thing he kept saying was "I want my lawyer" he doesn't really remember what question they were asking him but he does remember that the detective kept saying.
"He told us everything"
He still trying to figure out who is this mystery guy that told the cops
"Jones come with me" a officer said walking up to the cell pulling it open
"Where I'm going" Jaheem asked as the officer grabbed his arms and cuffed them they began walking
"Interrogation room" the officer told him and Heem just shook his head y'all ain't finna get shit outta me bro he thought to himself
"Alright Jones your gonna have to tell us something" The detective Barnes said when he walked in the room and saw Jaheem sitting at the table with his legs on the table and his arms crossed
"Ion have to do shit where my lawyer at man" Heem chuckled at the fact that they really think they're going to get something out of him
"Jones I don't have time for your bullshit tell me something!" Barnes said slapping his hand on the table fed up with Jaheem
"Something" Jaheem was really testing this man's patience but he really doesn't give a fuck
"GOT DAMMIT YOUR TICKING ME OFF TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT THAT NIGHT" Barnes shouted getting up and put his hand around Jaheems neck
"M-man get the fuck back" Jaheem pushed the man back causing him to stumble back
"Okay you don't have to tell me nothing we'll just go ahead and get all your friends" Barnes shrugged about to head out the door
"Ight coo but before you go let me get my one call"
"Take him to get his call" Barnes told the officer once he opened the door

"Pa is he going to get out" I asked worried that Jaheem was going to have to be in jail
"Mama I promise you we trying to figure it out just chill please" he got up and walked out the room causing me to sigh
I know for a fact he's getting frustrated with me because I keep asking the same question I was asking all last night, but he has to understand that I'm scared that Jaheem will not get out.
We're still at my dads house since our place is under investigation and the door was knocked off the hinges
Getting knocked out of my thoughts by my phone ringing I picked it up and saw it was an unknown number

"Hello, this is a collect call from Mississippi County Jail for Jaheem say yes if you would like to accept." I heard and quickly said yes
"Mama hey" I heard his voice and my eyes began to water

"I'm good ma but I need you to talk to Asaad moms for me" he said I immediately knew he was talking about Jessica
"Okay, I will as soon as I get off the phone"

"Yeah he's just trying to figure out if your going to get out he's stressing"
"Tell him I'm good and I'll be out by tonight or the next morning Ight" he sounded so sure about this
"O-okay" I said I really hope he does get out by tonight
"But aye how my baby doing" I could tell he was smiling
"Good she's been calm but I've been throwing up at lot" i smiled rubbing my belly
"First stop calling my son a girl but bring the phone down to yo stomach" I did and he started talking
