JENLISA STORY: PLAYED BY FATE

CHAPTER 1| BRAVE ENOUGH

- LISA'S POV -

"And cut.. It's a wrap nice work everyone "

It's finally over, I wanna go home.

"Lisa, what are your plans after work?"- my manager asked

"I wanna go home, I haven't seen my daughter for a week now, I really miss her" - I replied

"OK then, I already gathered your things and put them inside your car, do you want me to drive you home?"- she offered

I gave her a sweet smile and said

"Nah! I can handle it, it's your sister's birthday today, right? So just go home and celebrate her birthday with your  family "

"Thank you, but are you sure you'll gonna be fine?" - I know she's just worried about me so I assured her that I'll be fine.

After a discussion with the director, my manager and I parted ways.

While on my way home I received a call from Hanbin.

-- ON CALL --

Hanbin: "Hey Bob, are you done with your work?"

Lisa: "Yes Bob, I'm on my way home"

Hanbin: "Alone?"

Lisa: "Yeah! I already told my manager to go home so she and her family  could celebrate her sister's birthday together"

Hanbin: "You should have told me earlier"

Lisa: "Nah! It's fine, I'm almost there, where's Canny? can I talk to her?"

Hanbin: "We'll.. About that!"

Lisa: "What did something happen to her?"

Hanbin: "Canny is been silent since yesterday, but every time I ask her about what's going  on, she says it's nothing which bothers me"

Lisa: "That's very unusual for Canny to stay silent,
Don't worry about it, I'll talk to her later"

Hanbin: "OK then, I'm Hanging up so you can focus on driving, I'll see you later"

Lisa: "Yeah! Bye"

-END OF CALLS --

-- 30 MINUTES LATER --

The house was too quiet when I got in.

Hanbin: "You're finally here"

Lisa: "Yeah!, where's Canny?"

Hanbin: "She's in the living room, go talk to her"

Lisa: "OK! What's for dinner?"

Hanbin: "What do you want for dinner? I'll prepare it for you"

Lisa: "You know me better right? so you know what I wanna eat right now "

He just nods at me while smiling at me before walking towards the kitchen.

After he left I went on to check on my daughter.

Just like her dad said she was sitting on the couch silently and it seemed like she was having deep thoughts right now.

She was even surprised when I sat beside her.

Canny: "Oh! Mom, since when did you arrive?"

Lisa: "Not that long, it seems like somebody is having deep thoughts right now, what's wrong? something bothers you?"

She let out a deep sigh before speaking.

"Mom, I think something's wrong with me" -she said

"I think I like someone older than me what should I do?" - she added
