After making sure that the reunion of the Rose/Xiao long family went off without a hitch I'm now cooking breakfast for myself roman neo and winter
"Nathan where did you disappear to yesterday?" Winter asks me
"I used a device of mine to open a portal to remnant to make sure a reunion of sorts went off without too much trouble" I say as I continue to cook
"Wait you and travel between remnant and here?" Roman asks
I nod my head as to say yes
I soon finish cooking breakfast which I give neo roman winter a plate before grabbing my own plate which the four of us begin eating
"So Nathan do you have any plans for the day?" Neo asks me
"Not really to be honest I am planning to explore the surrounding areas close to the cabin to get a feel for the terrain we are in the middle of" I say
"That is a wise choice to do" Winter says
We continue eating which after we are finished I grab the dishes and wash them before going to my room and grabbing my greatsword
"Alright I'll be back in a bit" I say while exiting through the front door
Upon exiting the cabin I begin to walk through the nearby woods as I look at the nature of gamindustri
"Nature sure is peaceful here and not filled with any killer monsters that want to devour you" I say in a calm tone
As I'm walking through the woods I hear a branch break in half
Turning my head to the sound I soon see a strange robot standing not too far away from me

"So who are you supposed to be?" I ask the robot
The robot doesn't speak but charges at me with a flaming sword
I quickly dodge the strike which I activate the recording feature of my scroll and throw the scroll away from the battle
Charging at the robot I unleash a combo attack which to my surprise the robot blocks the combo
"Seems you're able to withstand my attacks... Well let's see how you handle this" I say as I dash towards to the robot only to fade through it
A few minutes pass before I slowly start to appear from the robot's shadow
"Shadow Blitz!" I shout as I unleash my special attack on the robot
Again to my horror the robot endures the attack
"Pathetic you lack the understanding of what it means to be a swordsman" the robot says to me
"So you can speak I was beginning to wonder if your voice modulator was broken or something" I say to the robot
