"T3! Walk me to my car," Lindsey said, peaking her head into my bedroom.

I sighed as I climbed out of my bed. "So damn needy," I mumbled. I pulled my bedroom door open and walked her downstairs so she could leave the house and finally allow me to get some time to talk to my girl. "You know what," I began as we walked down the driveway to get to her car, "I think I see your best friend pulling up in the driveway. Right there."

I pointed towards Devon's car, smiling. Devon was Uncle Deonte's son, who has a baby with Uncle E.J's ex-fiancee named Christine. Devon and Christine were together for like three years after she and Uncle E.J broke up and she had the baby with Devon, but I things between them got crazy after they got married. They were happy at first, but then Uncle E.J started taunting them and so did Devon's ex-fiancee Amanda, who he also has a child with. Somehow, Amanda and Uncle E.J managed to break Devon and Christine up, so now Amanda and Devon are back together with their baby while Christine's managing to keep things together with the baby she has with Devon.

Lindsey, Mama and Ava can't stand Devon and what he's done to this family. Ever since he took Uncle E.J's girl away from him, Uncle E.J won't even show up to family events, especially the ones that Devon attends. I know Grandma was pissed about everything that happened with Devon too, but she's forgiven him, I guess. I'm not really sure since she never speaks about it much but I know Grandpa can't stand him. Him and Grandpa really don't get along. But he's cool with Pops, which is the only reason why he's even allowed to step foot around our house. If it was up to Mama, she wouldn't even let him come near the house. But me, I'm cool with Devon. I don't have a problem with him. I don't really care what he did because that's in the past and he made a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes, so I wasn't the one to judge about all his kids, baby mama's and wives.

Lindsey turned up her nose. "I can't stand his good for nothing ass. Let me get out of here before he even tries to start talking to me," Lindsey said as she climbed up inside of her car and immediately pulled out of the driveway before she could even put her seat belt on.

I laughed, shaking my head at Lindsey. She's always doing too much when it comes to Devon, her, Mama and Ava all do too much. They need to just let that shit go because it happened in the past. That was seven years ago and none of it can be erased. They just need to mind their business and let Devon do him because he's sure as hell not bothered by them and what they think about him.

"What's up, fam? I see you was waiting for me Little T," Devon commented as he climbed out of his truck.

I laughed and gave him some dap. "Man, wasn't nobody waiting on you. I was just walking Lindsey out to her car and you happened to be here."

"Oh," he smirked, "that was Lindsey with her rude ass. I should have known that was her by the way she sped outta here the minute a nigga pulled up. She still on that bull shit from a few years ago, huh?"

I nodded my head. "Yeah, you know how she is. She ain't gonna let that shit go."

"Well she needs to, 'cause she don't want me to bring up what's really wrong with her ass. She needs a nigga, but most importantly she needs some d*ck to humble her rude ass. And maybe a nigga will control her and put her in check 'cause she's really fuckin' lost it walking up outta here without saying something to me. She don't want me to bring up why she can't find a man with her lonely, depressed ass," he ranted as we walked up the porch steps, but I held my hand out stopping him from going any further.

"Aye, chill D. It ain't even that serious."

He sighed. "Yeah, you right man. My bad. It's just, she makes me so angry sometimes."

"I know, but stop bringing that up. You know what happened to everybody when that happened to her. Ion like talking about that shit either, so stop bringing it up just to insult her. That's still my sister, and she irritates me to the fullest, but I don't bring that up if we arguing. That's probably one of the lowest, bummiest things you could say about her."
