"No one is here"

I looked back at him and said,

"Let's go to my office"

He nodded, I smiled weakly and walked towards my office followed by Dad. We both sat on the couch side by side to each other, I still couldn't believe that Dad was by my side it felt like a dream. Breaking the chain of my thoughts Dad held my right hand in his and while looking into my eyes he asked,

"How have you been, Baby?"

I looked at him blankly while inside I was conflicted about whether I should tell him everything or just the main things leaving all the bad memories beside me, he started drawing circles at the back of my hand and seemed to read through my mind he smiled and spoke,

"Tell me everything, Honey"

I nodded silently shocked by the fact he knew what was going on in my head. I looked back at our hands intervened and started,

"After you left Mom married Mason"

"I know"

I shockingly looked at him, he smiled and asked me to continue,

"He turns to be a drunkard, he used to beat me and Mom for his own fun"

I felt Dad's muscles tensing, he gave a light squeeze to my hand and I continued,

"When I officially turned 18 he sold me out to a lady named Gum-ri"

I felt Dad clenching his jaw in pure anger, but I resumed,

"She forced me to marry his Grandson, Taehyung"

Dad's grip on my hand loosened, he looked at me shockingly and asked,

"Kim Taehyung?"

I nodded and spoke further,

"But he already had his loved ones with him so he made it clear that this relationship meant nothing to him"

Dad started caressing the back of my hand in a comforting manner while I looked back at my lap and said,

"Then accidentally I got pregnant but no one knew about it not even me"

"And by the time I discovered my pregnancy, he moved out to live with his girlfriend"

I looked back at Dad and searched for any emotion but his face was blank, making it difficult for me to continue. He exhaled heavily and asked,

"Then?"

I gulped nervously and continued,

"I gave birth to twins"

I smiled as I mentioned my kids,

"I named them Eun-woo and Yuri, both of them are so cute"

Dad smiled and told me,

"Can't wait to see them"

I smiled sadly and continued,

"A year ago Eun-woo was diagnosed with some immune disorder"

"Doctors searched for every possible way to treat him and at last they told that umbilical blood might save him"

"So Grandma forced Taehyung to come back"

I explained, Dad raised his brows and asked,

"He never came back earlier?"

I shook my head in denial, I observed his expression changing from worried to angry instantly. I smiled fakely trying to change the topic I spoke about,

"You will love both of the kids"

He smiled as I mentioned the kids, but his smile dropped as his eyes fell on my hands more precisely on my wrist. I panicked but before I could snatch my wrists back he held them firmly but not hurting me and asked,

"What are these about?"

He pointed to my scars, I cursed myself internally forgetting to dress up my fresh wounds in a hurry. I looked at Dad, he was serious and there was no way I could lie to him cause he could read through my head, I bit my lower lip out of nervousness and answered,

"I did this"

"Baby"

He cooed and hugged me closer to his body, I smiled feeling better now, and wrapped my arms around him. He caressed my back and told me,

"I'm proud of you, Honey"

I smiled and nodded in his embrace, he chuckled and asked,

"How old are kids now?"

"They are going to be of 6 years soon"

I replied while smiling but my smile faded as I realized that next week is going to be our sixth wedding anniversary not that I celebrate it but this time Taehyung is here...he might not remember it. I shook away all those thoughts and decided to concentrate on Dad right now, breaking the chain of my thoughts Dad spoke,

"I'm sorry for abandoning you, baby"
