She smiled looking into my eyes, making me smile too, she look back at the view and spoke,

"This is my secret site"

"If I ever feel like breaking I just come here"

She said with almost glassy eyes, she was drunk and spilling out things and surprisingly I suddenly want to hear all of them, I was feeling content while sitting with her here like this, I know it's odd.

 "Why?"

I almost whispered my thought aloud curiously but she heard it and responded,

"This view relaxes me the most"

She rested her head against my shoulder making my heart race for an unknown reason and continued,

"You know when I was little, I always desired to marry someone I love and have kids and build a cute little family"

"Just like mine"

"But things don't go like we wanted"

"Out of nowhere, Dad left us and almost disappeared"

"I was of seven years back then, he was the first man I truly treasured"

"Dad and Mom used to be my ideal couple"

"But they both get divorced and I lost contact with my Dad for forever"

I look over at her, she was smiling with her glassy eyes, and at that moment I realized that she was already broken and I broke her once again that it was almost impossible to mend her, she doesn't deserve any of this, she is an angel. She snuggled into my arms and continued,

"When mom married my step-dad, I was so happy that she found her loved ones and have a completely happy family at last"

"But all of that was a lie"

"He never loved my mom"

"One night I saw him beating her to death"

I shockingly look over at her, her face was neutral, she was not smiling anymore but her eyes were red by now, and tears were threatening to fall out, she was just staring at the sunset, and said,

"That night I begged him not to hurt my mom"

"And since then he never raised his hand on Mom but me"

I frowned my eyes in confusion, why didn't she tell anyone about all this, she might report him to the police. My eyes widened as I recall her bruised body, that was her stepdad...

"I used to think once I'll found my true love everything will be fine, I'll take Mom away with me, far away from him but..."

"He sold me to Grandma, I was 19 at that time"

"I never wanted to marry a complete stranger"

"When I got to know about your girlfriend I begged Grandma not to make me marry you"

"I never planned to destroy your perfect relationship"

She was shivering due to the cold wind, I removed my coat and covered her petite body with it, and she snuggled in my embrace and while looking at me with a small apologetic smile continued,

"But at last I had to marry you"

"I was left with no other option, I don't have anywhere to go, no one to rely on"

She chuckled dryly and while looking into my eyes she confessed,

"To be honest after our wedding, the silly me wished that you could love me like you love Sunmi"
