It's been almost 3 weeks since I came back home from the Cullen's other than taking Chief out, I haven't left my room.

Emily comes to my door every day hoping I'll open it or that I'll come out, but I never do. I just lie around I havent seen or talked to Paul since the day I came home.

Climbing out of bed I grab some clothes heading to my bathroom removing my shirt, the bruise still there.

Brushing my teeth, I throw some clothes on not hearing anyone in the house I head downstairs letting Chief out

The back door opens, I whirl around seeing Sam. He looks at me clearly worried.

Can we talk please, he asks, pleading with me?

There's nothing to talk about, I say, wincing at the slight movement

Bailey what's going on he asks

Nothing I say, turning around to let Chief in, but a sharp pain in my side stops me as I drop to my knees

He runs over, grabbing my arm, helping me up

There's something wrong, he says, noticing the bruise peeking out from under my shirt

He lifts my shirt up seeing the bruise. Why aren't you healing he asks

I don't know Sam okay, and honestly, I don't really care I say, walking back upstairs

Standing in the kitchen after my talk with Bailey, I decided to call Carlisle. Grabbing my phone, I dialed his number and after a few rings he answered

Sam he says

Hey, can you come over, something is wrong with Bailey? She isn't healing like she's supposed to. She's been locked in her room since she came home.

I'll be over soon, he says and we hang up

I hear the door open just as Paul and Jacob walk in the door

Hey what's up Jacob asks

Carlisle is on his way over, I say

For what Paul asks

Bailey isn't healing, I say

What are you talking about, I thought she was fine. Jacob says.

What do you mean what happened? Paul asks.

Bella found out about the imprint and Bailey didn't want her to hurt Seth, so Bailey jumped in, Bella threw her against a tree.

She did what Paul snaps, getting angry.

Paul calm down you getting pissed isn't going to help Bailey. I say, trying to reason with the hothead, just as Carlisle walks through the door

Carlisle, thank you for coming. She's in her room has been since she came home a few weeks ago. I say

He nods while we walk upstairs to her room, knocking on the door

Bailey can you please open the door, I ask?

I hear mumbling on the other side before she lightly says it's unlocked

We walk in to find her sitting on her floor leaned against the bed with a grimace on her face.

Bailey Sam called he said you aren't healing Carlisle says

I'm fine it's just a bruise she says, wincing

That's the thing Bailey you shouldn't have a bruise at all. You should have healed by now, and you haven't that tells me something is wrong. Carlisle says

Can you please sit on the bed, he asks her

She nods as she stands up sitting on the bed

Let me take a look, Carlisle says, motioning to the bruise on her side

She lifts the hem of her shirt revealing the black and purple bruise. He looks it over before checking over the rest of her

Okay, thank you, Bailey Sam can I speak with you, he asks, I nod as we walk into the hallway?

I don't know how to explain this, but physically there's nothing wrong with her, she's the reason she's not healing

Have you ever heard of what happens when wolves reject the imprint bond he asks

Bailey is fighting the bond, that's why she isn't healing. I say realization setting in

Sam, I'm afraid the only way Bailey is going to get better is she has to forgive Paul, he says

What happens if she doesn't forgive me I hear from behind me, turning to see Paul on the stairs

She'll die, I say

It's been a week since Dr

It's been a week since Dr. fang came and looked at Bailey. She still hasn't come out. Sam and Emily have both tried she won't open the door.

Paul, maybe you should try, Sam says from his place at the table

What good will that do if I had not sided against her, she wouldn't be fighting this, and she definitely wouldn't be about to die, I yell in frustration.

Calm down, Sam says

How can you tell me to calm down my imprint is laying upstairs dying, and I can't do anything about it, I yell!

Paul go up there try to talk to her, it can't hurt to try. Sam says

Knowing it won't hurt to try, I walked upstairs to her door knocking. I don't get an answer.

Bailey can we please talk I plead through the door. I hear moving around before the door opens she turns walking back to her bed. I follow, sitting on the edge?

Bailey I'm sorry there is no excuse that can make up for anything that happened, please forgive me. I know choosing to follow Sam was the wrong decision. I don't want to lose you over that. Bailey. I love you I say

I love you too Paul, but it's not that easy. I can't just forgive and forget. I want to forgive you, but I can't forget what happened, knowing if something like that ever happens again, you'll side against me

I won't not again. I made that mistake, and now I'm paying for it, but I promise you I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you I say, grabbing her hand

I'm going to hold you to that, she says

Do you forgive me, I ask quietly, afraid she'll say no

I forgive you but as I said before, I can't just forget, but the past month has been hell without you, she says

I know it has Darlin I say, pulling her into a hug. She wraps her arms tightly around me.
