"I see your friends are just like you." Rea couldn't help but say, making Heeseung quickly look up at her.

His eyes told her that he understood what she meant, and her eyes told him that she knew she was right.

It irked him to the core.

"What are you talking about?" Angel shook his head and looked at the guys. "She's a little crazy."

"You can stay here. I'll head off."

Rea stood from the table, but she was stopped by Angel's hand around her wrist.

"I thought this was our vacation, for both of us. Everything together remember?"

"I thought this was our vacation too. But you already have company so.." She pettily said as she took her arm out of his grip and walked out of the cafe.

Heeseung glared at her back, as his two 'friends' looked through the menu to order whatever they wanted off his credit card, like always.

Rea quietly sat on a bench as she took in a deep breath, before licking her ice cream.

The park that she was at was still warm enough for her to sit there, even if the evening was starting to fall upon her.

She had walked around Le Mans for hours, just admiring the scenery and buying a couple of random tokens from local stores.

Even if the most important racing event of the year was happening in the city, there weren't a lot of crazy tourists around to ruin the peacefulness, which was perfect for her.

As she thought about her day, she wondered what her brother was doing.

Probably still with his boyfriend....

She rolled her eyes at the thought of Heeseung before licking her ice cream again, and staring out at the pond.

Her phone started buzzing in her expensive purse, and she nonchalantly searched for it.

When her eyes landed on the screen, she rolled her eyes again, debating whether she should answer or not.

"Hello?" She finally spoke as she placed the phone to her ear with a sigh.

"Rea."

"Yes?"

"Come back to me, Rea."

Rea scrunched up her nose and stared at the pond, waiting for him to get tired and hang up.

Her ex-boyfriend was the most persistent person she had ever met. He wasn't a stalker or overly protective, but he was definitely a beggar.

Every time she'd reject him, he'd disappear for two weeks and then come back as if nothing ever happened.

"Rea."

"Stop calling me, please."

"Rea, you can't keep doing this to me. I love you. I can't live without you."

"You love me now?" She feigned surprise as she crossed one leg over the other. "Also, you've been without me for a couple of months now, I can hear you breathing perfectly fine."

"I'll kill myself if you don't take me back, Rea."

"Josh, you're drunk. Shut up and stop joking about things like that." She seriously said as she rolled her eyes. "We're done."

"Rea."

His manipulation tactics came straight from an old K-drama. It was almost as if he studied an entire script and perfected it, just to recite it to her.

"Hey! Psycho! We've been looking for you everywhere!"

Rea suddenly heard from her side, seeing Heeseung on a bike, and riding over to her.

"You don't seem like you were actually looking for me."

"I should rephrase what I said, your brother was looking for you, and I rented a bike and pretended to look for you." Heeseung emphasized the word 'pretended' as he gave a small smirk to which she only shook her head.

"Did you get your besties some new bikes too?" She faked a smile, making Heeseung's smirk drop slowly.

"Are you with a guy? Who is that?"

"No one, Josh. It's an absolute nobody." She said harshly and pointedly into the phone as Heeseung, who was riding in circles around her bench, stopped in front of her.

"Who's Josh?" Heeseung questioned making her shush him. "Hi Josh. I'm Heeseung!"

"Who is that, Rea? That doesn't sound like Angel. How are you already over me? You can't do this to me, Rea." Josh cried over the phone, making her take in a deep breath out of distress.

Heeseung looked away from her, trying to contain his smile as he could hear the grown man over the phone, whining like a child.

"She's eating ice cream with me in France." Heeseung said loud enough, almost teasingly as he looked at Rea, whose eyes widened at his audacity.

"Rea? What?!" Josh cried louder and Heeseung smiled brightly, playfully switching his weight from one foot to the other as he still sat on the bike.

With that Rea knew that her hunches on his evilness were very right.

"Don't call me again, Josh. Please."

"Rea-"

She quickly hung up the phone and placed it in her bag, before standing up and walking ahead.

"Did I ruin your cute relationship for you?" She could hear Heeseung on his bike, behind her, but she chose to ignore him as she ate her ice cream.

"Didn't you hear what I said? Your brother is looking for you." Heeseung calmly spoke as he rode the bike slowly next to her.

"If he really was, he would've called me. He's just pretending to care." She answered as she bit the waffle cone of her ice cream.

"That explains why he also rented a bike..." He laughed, before taking in a deep breath, feeling the air run through his hair. "I wouldn't look for you either, you don't seem very appealing. Don't understand what that Josh guy sees."

Rea immediately stopped walking and glared at him as he stopped a couple of steps ahead of her as if he hadn't said anything wrong.

"What did you say?"

"I said that I don't see what that Josh guy sees. You seem rude, and arrogant. I wouldn't humiliate myself like that for you." He shrugged as he looked at her straight in the eye.

"And you're snobby, a douche and a plaster saint. And no one asked for your opinion on whether you would beg for me or not. Asshole." She furrowed her eyebrows as Heeseung raised his eyebrows at her quick snap back.

"A plaster saint?.."

"Yes, a plaster saint!"

"Well, I have an opinion of you after spending time with you. You on the other hand consider your opinion valid after one encounter, without even knowing me!"

"You don't know me either, so don't even speak on my name." She rolled her eyes as she started walking away.

"Oh, you can do it, but I can't?" He chuckled in almost disbelief as he watched her walk away from him and turn around one more time to stand in front of him.

Rea placed her pointer finger against his chest, and lightly pushed him, making him glare at her.

"And for your information, I wouldn't humiliate myself for you either. Never, in a million years will I EVER put my eyes on you. Fake." She said harshly, before she bit the cone of her ice cream with a loud crunch and turned to truly walk away this time.

"I won't either!" He pettily yelled after her, before letting out a scoff and riding his bike the opposite way.
