Jessica Jones' life was sad

And it still is.

Everything went wrong went her parents died in a car crash. The crash caused radioactive waste to spill and give super strength, and the ability to fly. She went into a coma for seven months and was adopted by and somewhat nice family. The Jones'

Her love life was just... not there.

She never dated anyone in her school days. She was awkward before the accident, and after she was jaded, scared and riddled with survivor's guilts... you could imagine why people felt uncomfortable around her.

But that didn't mean she didn't like people. There was one. That one was named Peter Parker.

You may have heard of him.

He was smart, nice, ... kinda scrawny, and with those nerdy little glasses. How could you not be enamored?!

But when she came back to school after the accident... he was taller, muscular, and he got rid of the glasses!

I mean he was still nerdy but it wasn't the same!

The two of them weren't friends, but they knew of each other. They always smiled at each other in the hallways, worked well with each other when paired up. A few of the younger teachers took bets on when they would get together, but they never heard from each other after graduation. 

You all know what Peter's been doing.

MJ Watson on and off again, proposing to MJ, her saying 'no' and moving to Florida. Soon enough Peter said 'That's all I can stans... I can't stans no more!'

Which means he gave up on MJ, and decided to move on with his life.

Peter now a newly college graduate, twenty-two  years old, still freelancing for the 'Daily Bugle', he walked dogs for a little extra money, he was an UberEats driver... he didn't get good reviews so he quit. Now he works at a bar, much more stable income.

Jessica on the other hand...

She fell into alcoholism, brainwashed by that by a egotistical manipulator Killgrave. It wasn't going great to say the absolute least.

Jessica in the modern day steps in to a quiet little bar on the corner. It was close to her place so it won't be that far of a wonky walk back to her sh*tty apartment.

When she walked in she heard the sounds of pool ball clanging together. She walks up to the bar and takes a seats. The bartender sees this and walks over. 

"Hey. What can I get you?" He asked. He looked familiar, but she couldn't pick up on it. "Whiskey Rocks."

The bartender pours her the whiskey and gave it to her. The bartender kept looking at her, the same way she looked at him.
