Her blade clashes with his as she pushes him away from the student, and they stand with their blades locked.

Blake: I'm... not... running.

Adam: Heh, such irony.

He kicks her away, knocking her onto the floor. A nearby Grimm runs toward her, only to be shot by Adam.

Adam: It's time you pay for your betrayal. Partner.

Outside the Beacon grounds, all the students are trying their best at keeping some of the Grimm at bay.

Just as the situation seemed dire, Weiss Schnee arrived charging to the battlefield.

Unfortunately, she was swiftly countered as she was swatted aside by a Grimm's powerful arm.

Neptune: Weiss!

Yatsuhashi attempted to parry the Armored Beowolf's punch with his sword, but he was overpowered and sent flying backward.

The menacing Grimm then turned its attention to a momentarily distracted Lie Ren.

Nora: Look out!

With a selfless act, Nora pushed Ren out of harm's way, taking the brunt of the Grimm's strike.

Ren: Nora, No!

Desperately reaching out to her, Ren was also knocked aside by the formidable Grimm.

Coco and Neptune Vasilias opened fire on the Beowolf, but their attacks had little effect.
