Next morning
Waking up had been a slog.
No alarm. No calls telling him he was late for school. Nothing.
Ben remembered crying after he made sure his door was locked.
It wasn't true was it? Was his only value to the universe using the Omnimatrix?
Blinking he looked around, wait what was going on?

"What? Why is my biological form in it's Galvan state? And where is the omnimatrix?" Ben said feeling his back.
Jumping over to his dresser he looked into the mirror.
Making his way to the kitchen he saw a floating being and his mother.
"Greeting maternal unit and Alternative self." Grey Matter said.
"Ben is this really Another you?" Sandra Tennyson asked pointing to the Evolved Galvan.
"Affirmative." Grey Matter said grabbing some food off the table "Are you almost finished with that? I cannot go to school in this form."
"You can. You are. I'm not done either." Kirby said.
"Your gonna be going to school as Grey Matter from now on." Trixie said.
"He could get squished like that." Sandra said.
"Not a problem." The arms on the floating evolution started shifting and producing more machines.

"Nanite suit." Kirby said holding his arm to Grey Matter's head "Tell it to fold."
Ben did and then was told to activate it.
