However, I welcomed them in my appartment. Hemant Bhai and Mr Rajput sat on the couch while Misha di on my favourite bean bag.
"Well, I was about to cook lunch only. Why don't you all join me?" I asked.
"And what's there for menu?" Misha di raised her eyebrows and asked.
"Some Bengali foods maybe" I chuckled seeing her flustered expression.
"I'm in" said Hemant bhai.
All looked at Mr Rajput.
"Kya?sab mujhe kyu dekh rahe ho? Mujhe koi problem nahi hai" he said. (What?why are you staring at me? I don't have any problem)
As welcome drinks, I served them my favourite Aam Porar sharbat which is a Bengali drink made from roasting raw mangos.
Everybody loved it!
I was cooking while Misha di was helping me in the kitchen.
"Why are you all here today? I mean hemant Bhai and Mr Rajput?" I asked.
Then she narrated the whole scenario to me. She told me that Mr Rajput personally apologised to all and came here to make sure that I don't leave the company. Well, I felt that Mr Rajput isn't that bad, but still is bad.
We were in the kitchen when suddenly I heard Hemant Bhai say, "where did you get this paintings from Ahana? These are so beautiful".
We came out from the kitchen and saw Hemant Bhai and Mr Rajput looking at the painting hanging from the wall and some kept on the shelves.
"Yeh kahise kharidi nhi hai isne, khud me banayi hai. She is a pro artist" Misha di said. And Hemant Bhai and Mr Rajput looked at me in horror, eyes shocked. (She didn't buy it from anywhere, she made them).
I smiled sheepishly.
