"No, I seemed to be near her when you sent that threatening text to her in the morning"
I sighed and explained to her,
"Mom Sunmi and I have been together for almost eight years now and I'm not quitting on her"
"But you and Yn have been together for six years"
"Exactly and I never spent a minute with her in those six years, I was with Sunmi all of those years"
She became silent, getting the point slowly, I internally sighed in relief. I know Mom adores Sunmi more than anyone and she wants me to be with her only, I know Sunmi might not be feeling good alone, it's the first time we have ever been apart for this long time, and I don't blame her for feeling insecure about it. But as Dad said I want to focus on Yn now because she deserves it, She deserves to be happy for once, After making sure that she's alright, after making sure that she has her loved ones beside her, I'll set her free and will get back to Sunmi as before.
"Mom just stop threatening Yn"
"I'll fix everything"
"Okay"
She mumbled.
"I'll call you later"
I said and declined the call.
I rubbed my face with my palms tiredly, I glanced over the clock, we still had half an hour until we got off from work. I stood up and walked outside the office, I smirked as I stopped in front of Yn's office as I recall the event from the morning, I decided to check on her. I knocked on her door and heard a firm 'come in', I clicked the door open and entered the office but frowned immediately as I saw her packing up her stuff, I put my hands inside my pants pockets and asked,
"Are you going somewhere?"
"Yes, Jungkook wants me to meet him"
I raised my brows and pouted, not feeling good about it. I cleared my throat and told her,
"I'm done with my work too"
She stopped her actions and now her full attention was on me, I bit my lower lip feeling a little nervous out of nowhere, I suggested to her,
"We can go together if you want to"
She blinked a few times looking at me in pure shock, making me more nervous as my palms started to sweat. I shook my head and spoke,
"It's okay if you wa-"
"You can drive"
She cut me in between taking me by surprise, she picked up her purse and hung her blazer on her right arm, she walked towards me and spoke,
"Let's go, we still have to attend the party tonight"
I nodded as I remembered about the party we had to attend, she brushed past me, and I exhaled heavily and followed her to the parking lot. I unlocked the car and she made herself comfortable in the passenger seat, she was acting weird, it seemed like she was avoiding me as she was not making any eye contact with me, I confusingly entered into the driver seat and found her texting someone on her phone.
I shrug off the uneasiness for now and drove towards Jungkook's company, for the whole ride she kept busy herself with her phone, more like avoiding me, and that shit was irritating me to my core. I stopped in front of the Jungkook's company and without wasting any second YN got out of the car, leaving me all clueless. I parked the car at a suitable spot and rushed to follow Yn as she was about to enter the elevator, in time I stopped the elevator from closing and entered it, it was only us. I cleared my throat and asked her,
