Sonic's POV

As the day faded into evening, Shadow and I eventually made our way back to my apartment. The weight of our mysterious outings hung in the air, and my mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions.

Shadow's subtle hints and compliments had been playing on my mind. It was as if there was an unspoken connection between us, one that I couldn't quite understand. But the truth was, my heart had started to race in a way it hadn't in a long time.

However, as we stepped into my apartment, the reality of my complicated situation with Scourge came crashing back. Scourge was still lounging on the couch, his emerald eyes fixated on me.

"Back so soon, Blue?" Scourge asked, a sly grin playing on his lips.

I couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. I had agreed to go out with Shadow, and now, returning to our shared apartment, I felt like I was walking a tightrope,

"Yeah, we just went for a walk," I replied, my voice faltering slightly. I didn't want to give Scourge any reason to be suspicious,

Shadow nodded in agreement, "Just needed some fresh air," he added, his tone casual.

Scourge's grin widened, but there was a glint of something else in his eyes, something possessive. "Well, as long as you're back now. I missed you, Blue."

I forced a smile, feeling the weight of Scourge's words pressing down on me. I knew I was tangled in a complicated web of secrets and lies, and the conflicting emotions inside me were becoming harder to ignore.

Shadow's POV

As I left Sonic's apartment, my heart ached with the desire to help him remember our past life together. But I also knew the reality of his situation with Scourge, and the danger it posed.

Returning to my own apartment, I couldn't shake the sense of longing that had been building inside me. Sonic had been my lover in our past life, and the feelings I had for him transcended time and memory.

But I had to tread carefully. Sonic didn't remember our past, and Scourge's presence was a constant reminder of the complex situation we were in. I couldn't risk pushing Sonic too hard, or worse, putting him in danger.

I found myself pacing the small room, trying to make sense of my emotions. I couldn't deny that I was falling for Sonic all over again, but it was a love that felt both familiar and new. It was a love that had survived the test of time, and I couldn't ignore it any longer. Using the emergency staircase i went to Sonic's apartment window

Sonic's POV

The evening wore on, and I found myself torn between two worlds. Scourge and I settled into our usual routine, but my thoughts kept drifting back to Shadow and the mysterious connection we shared.

As I lay in bed, I couldn't help but replay the events of the day in my mind. Shadow's subtle flirting, the familiar places we had visited, and the strange sense of déjà vu that had accompanied it all.

I knew I was in a complicated situation, but I couldn't deny that my feelings for Shadow were growing stronger with each passing moment. It was a love that felt both new and old, like a melody I couldn't quite remember but couldn't forget.

But as much as I wanted to explore these newfound emotions, the presence of Scourge in my life was a constant reminder of the secrets I had to keep. I couldn't risk endangering myself or anyone else by revealing the truth about my past with Scourge.

So, with a heavy heart, I pushed my feelings for Shadow aside, convincing myself that they were nothing more than a byproduct of our shared history. I couldn't afford to let myself fall for Shadow, not when my life was already a precarious balancing act.

And so, as I closed my eyes and drifted into a restless sleep, I buried those newfound emotions deep within me, but then i heard a tap on the window and i saw shadow? And he motioned me to open the window
