Start from the beginning

Some how she had ended up sitting on a curb outside. Her camera was around her neck and she could see her soft puffs of air coming out of her mouth while she waited. She wasn't exactly sure why she was waiting there. Till someone stepped out.

"What you doin' out here?" A strong mancunian accent asked from behind her.

"I don't know."

The man turned her way he had his arm around a blonde that wasn't Keeley. He looked down at her confused. "What do you want Jamie?" His frown increased more, it gave her a strange feeling not seeing the smug look on his face.

"Nothin sorry I was just..." He paused looking back at his date, "Do you mind driving yourself home?"

The girl threw him a pissy look, before leaving without saying a thing. He scoffed but looked back at the girl still on the curb infron of him, "Do you want a ride home? I know your date cancled."

She sighed twisting a ring on her finger anqousily. "It's fine Jamie..."

He sighed and rolled his eyes but picked up the girl anyway much to her dismay, "Jamie Tartt let me the fuck go!" She yanked back on her wrist, Jamie how ever, did not yeld.

"Come off it! Just get in the car!" He shouted at her, "I am trying to be nice! Let me be nice so you don't yell at me!"

She let out another loud grown, "Fine!" She finally gave up and climbed into the front seat of the car that they were now in front of. Jamie groaned as well, already beginning to regreat the descion of being nice.

He climbed in after her, starting up the engine with a slight hum, and began driving off. There was an awkard pause, they had never really spent time together one on one like this. It was odd and Tallullah didn't really know what to do with the situation. "You're car smells like lynnx body spray."

Jamie gave a smirk, "That's cause its the best."

"Not really... smells like a teenage boys bedroom." She moved to look out the window.

"Alright then." he shifted uncomfortably in his seat, "Where do you want me to drop you off?" He questioned trying to break the silence again. "You can drop me off at the tube station."

"What?"

"Yeah... I take it every night from the stadium, well that or I sometimes just walk home."

"That's not safe you know." Jamie thought of his mum then. For some odd reason he couldn't help but feel worried for the girls safety, going home at night alone. "Just gimme your address and I'll take you home."

"Why are you so set on being nice to me? Your not nice to anyone else." She crossed her arms still looking out the window, not wanting to make eye contact with the man sitting next to her.

He didn't respond, trying himself to figure out his reasoning behind his actions. He found none. "I don't know." His thick accent was laced in the words. The cross arms of Tallullah slowly came down by her side, she looked over at him finally as he kept his eyes on the road. The man looked sad slightly as if something was nagging him from the inside.

"What's wrong Jamie?" The irish accent poured out into the car.

"What?" He questioned at the girl, finally making eye contact with her for the first time that night.

The red head looked deeper into his face, "Jamie what's wrong? I've only seen you with that smug grin on your face, never have I seen Jamie Tartt looking, dare I say sad."

Jamie sighed, but took a leap of faith. For some reason the small girl in the seat next to him made him feel safer. "Keely broke up with me."

The other thought for a moment debating weather to be nice or to be honest... she went with honest. "Didn't you already have another date when you left?"

"Well... yeah but like, she dumped me so— I'm allowed to move on when ever I want!" The man voice suddenly raised as if he was trying to reason with himself.

"Is that why you let the date go home alone and instead picked up the lowly team photographer?" She joked with him only for Jamie to mumble out, "Probably."

"I live in the old Winsor building on Abbey Lane." Tallullah told him.

There was another beat of silence before Jamie started talking again, "Tallullah is a long name."

"Well Jamie is a dumb name, your name sounds like jam." The red head fired back.

"Hey no need to lash out, jesus, all I was saying is that you need like a nick name of somethin'." Jamie raised his hands in defence.

"...Oh." She pause for a moment, "Sorry."

Jamie stared back at her, "It's alright." He couldn't help but notice the girl looked sad as well. "So where is Hugo?"

She stiffened for a moment before anwsering back at him, "I don't know if I'm being honest."

Jamie wanted to scoff but held his tounge. He after a short moment of driving he was pulling up to the building. She reached for the door handle but stopped herself after a moment. "Jamie..." She turned around to face him and lauched herself at him, even if he was usually a mega douche he was sweet to her tonight, "Thank you."

He was stuck for a moment before he sort of wrapped his arms around her, "Whatever." He response was not geniune to his attitude but Tallulla didn't care. She moved away from him again only to be stopped by Jamie this time. "Hey Ulla, do you think I could pick you up tommorow, you know if I'm not to busy?"

Her face contorted in a slight grin, she was still so confused on how the man's attitude had changed the day after he had literally punched her in the face. "Yeah would be great... thank you again Jamie."

He didn't respond, putting up his many walls again as she climbed out of the car. She walked up to the building and got inside before Jamie pulled his car away. There was something diffrent now inside of her, a warm glow. The thing Tallullah couldn't figure out though,

is how the fuck Jamie Tartt gave it to her?
