Don't you know it's the one with the prettiest smiles that carry the most weight on their shoulders?

If you look at her face and see a beautiful smile, you'll think she the happiest wonder child.

But if you look deep in her eye, there nothing inside, only the burden from pain that launder.

Tell me a time you've seen her cry, let alone heard it.

Are you truly so dense, or did you choose not to notice?

If you want to provide, then step up and try, but don't bother if you fear darkness.

That's all that's left inside.

When you're swallowed in darkness,

With no end in site.

There's no way to disguise which hands are safe or packed with poison.

Remember this poem, as if it was an anthem.

She'll be quiet and composed,

But, it's not always from kindness.

But from burns and bruises, years of endless torment.

She learned to be quiet, so no one would hurt her.

Take note of her smile, watch as she always stays kind.

For she's weary her darkness will curse her forever.

To be endlessly used, abused, broken and left out to die.

Simply a doll to be molded and groomed

Is this all you'd want her to think that's she's meant for?

Stand with the people you love most,

Hear them out and support them, even if your tone is different.

Learn to be understanding, or wind up acting abusive.

Mistakes happen, it's fine, learn from them.

No one person can improve by only wanting too.

The next step is harder.

Step up to the plate when it matters.

Put in the work and the hours.

It's okay to be happy, to want thing and be selfish.

It's okay to ask for time and space when you need it.

We all have speeds and we're all different.

Some cuts heal with time where others need help from antibiotics.

Learn to know the difference, be patient, give gifts of understanding and support.

Blossoms needs time, and warmth to bloom.

But this beautiful flowers started out suffocate in darkness.

With water and sunshine, in time it grew to find the surface.

It learned to reach for survival.

But some blossoms need protection, or they'll be pulled from the roots.

Then left to wither and die.
