To the next person who loves me-
This is a message for you.
I may not know who you are yet,
Or by now- maybe I do.

I don't mind how tall you are,
And I don't care who you want to be.
I just hope when I confess my feelings,
You feel the same way about me.

It doesn't matter where in the world you live,
Or whether you're rich or poor.
I just hope when I say "I love you",
You tell me you love me more.

Please don't give up on me,
Even if I tell you to go away.
There may be reasons you want to give up
But please find that one reason to stay.

I may not have much to offer,
I'm not rich and I'm not bright.
But I will love you with my heart and soul,
And I'd adore you with all my might.

I'm too shy for it to even be cute,
And some days too anxious to go outside.
But please stick with me through the good days,
And on the days I want to hide.

So to the next person who loves me,
If you really want to stay.
Please don't let me fall in love,
To then slowly fade away.

Love me as much as I love you,
That's all I'll ever ask for.
And stick by my side no matter what,
And I could never wish for anything more.
