Redeployment (Royal Navy PoV)

Now Wales realized how George got the long cut across her face.

"If you do end up finding that thing sister, you must move as fast as you can and stay as unpredictable as possible, don't take time to stop and aim because it's so big, it's like shooting the broadside of a grey-painted barn." George said, placing her hand on Wales's shoulder

The description and almost defeated tone in George's voice was unsettling to Wales.

She was usually quite the optimistic type.

"Okay sister, I'll try-"

"All Kan-sen units report to the docks, this is not a drill"

"What the?—" both Wales and George said at the same time

Docks

Both King George and Wales walked down to the docks,

There was a huge gathering here with most of the Kan-sen at the base arriving, but something was amiss.

Usually, if there was a meeting, then it would be likely to be held inside,

But no, instead they were out at their docks, near where all of the ships were.

Many destroyers, light and heavy cruisers, the aircraft carriers Ark Royal and Victorious, were there.

"Quite the commotion going on over here." Wales said

Not a second after she said that, the commander then came out, promptly silencing the aforementioned commotion.

He had a really solemn look on his face, something which really unnerved Wales

He then addressed the small crowd

"Girls, I have some terrible news....

Well, that was evident from his expression.

The Iron Blood battleship that.... Sunk Hood, is a far worse threat than we initially anticipated, one which could change the course of the war against the Crimson Axis completely.

Apparently, those rumors of Ironblood "wonder weapons" were truer than high command would like to admit.

As such, you've been... redeployed effective immediately." The commander said.

Whispers and other sounds started coming from the small crowd of Shipgirls surrounding the commander.

"Well, turns out your prediction was right George." Wales said.

"Well.... remember what I told you sister, please be safe." George said.

"I'll try." Wales said, nodding
