"He's a good man, Savannah!" Nari preached on the phone

"No he ain't." I rubbed my forehead after spitting toothpaste and water out my mouth

They tryna convince me Joseon just being a lil slow right now but I call bullshit

"Anyways, a bad bitch got class so byeeee." I hung up and put my phone down

I put on a grey shorts and pink zip up jacket with my floral Gucci slides and called Dexter

"Yooda." He said

"I don't feel like driving, can you come take me to school?" I asked

"School? Where you go?" He asked

"University of Miami." I said

"What year you in?" He asked

"Sophomore but I'll graduate as a junior. Now can you come like damn you asking too many questions." I said and he hung in my face

30 minutes passed and his ass still hadn't came so I just drove myself, I know he ain't obligated but he coulda at least said no

I was kinda being kinda mean tho so I wouldn't have came and picked me up either

"Am I supposed to give this back?" I mumbled since I was driving my Lamb truck

"He gotta get it back in blood." I shrugged and laughed

Thinking of the car reminded me that I haven't even turned my location off for him, I turned it off and blocked him

When I was pulling on campus Dexter called me, I waited a couple rings to asneer

"I'm at yo house, where you be?" He asked

"Nigga, I'm already on campus now." I said

"My fault, I was coming from Tampa when you called me." He said

"Why were you in Tampa?" I asked getting out the car after parking

I grabbed my tote bag with all my stuff in it and started heading inside

"Buying some exotic." He said and I nodded

"I'm on campus now so I'll call you later." I said

"Okay, Ima come see you when you home." He said and I nodded and hung up

I walked in the doors and went to Ms. Jenkins nasty ass class

"Havalli, you can make your way to student affairs." She said and I looked at like she was crazy

"I ain't even had a chance to say something slick so how I'm already in trouble?" I smacked my teeth

"As I was saying, many people including full grown adults with these high order degrees don't know how to use semicolons." She directed her attention to the class ignoring me so I just huffed and closed the door
