Kyles pov

As I scribble down the answers to the maths question kenny leans his head on my shoulder looking at my work

"Why did Stan move?" Rebecca asks. I look up and see Stan sitting at the back writing on a piece of paper.

After a few seconds he scribbles something out and glares at the paper.

I shrug "just ignore him."

"Why, cause it's what you do?" I bite my lip at Rebecca's comment and she covers her mouth

"Kyle I'm-"

"It's fine."

"It's just I'm really stressed right now."

"I understand. it's fine really." she gives me a sympathetic look and kenny mumbles something

"What was that ken?" I ask him.

"Nothin."

We all fall into a silence and it's really awkward. I can't help but haven't eyes travel to Stan's direction. he's obviously not doing the problem because of how his pencil is moveing.

What is he writing?

I roll my eyes leaning back in my chair still observing stan. soon observing goes to checking him out

"Kyle, eyes on your work." kenny teases

I blush "shut up!"

Rebecca laughs half heartedly and closes her book and puts it in her bag.

"I'm done. I'll see you at the lockers" I nod and she gets up and leaves.

"Hey ky,"

"Hmm?"

"Are you her gonna tell Stan that you were imagining him not me?" I shrug blushing a little

"Why do you ask?"

Kenny shrugs "I want you too be happy. you like him, he likes you. go for it."

"I-I-I cant." Kenny sighs in frustration.

"Why!?"

"Because! It's hard to understand!"

Kenny places a hand on my Chest were my heart would be.

"I feel a heart beat. you have a heart kyle, follow it."

I bite my lip.

"Your following your brain, I know you are. but your heart has the path already made for you."

"I would follow my heart, but it's more logical to follow your brain, well it is to me. and my brain wants me to stay away from stan. have nothing to do with him. son that's what I'm going to do." I say getting up and closing my book. I Put it in my bag and kenny gets up also putting his book in his back.

Kenny smiles at me an ruffles my hair "let's head to those lockers."
