"No, because I already knew what he was going to say."

"No, you did not." You didn't let him speak to you. So how do you know what he was going to say? "How are you so certain of everything?" He was speaking in a stern tone, yet he wasn't being unpleasant.

"Angel. You don't get it. He is he, and I am I. We will never be able to fit! "We're like two opposing ends of an ocean that never meet."

"Who is to say? Yes, I am perplexed. But what I don't understand is why you'd say that. "What makes you so certain?" He sounded strong, as if he was attempting to persuade me that I was mistaken.

"Because! He is unlike me in so many ways! I'm not sure what phase this is, but he's the type of guy that can get any women he wants, whenever he wants. Many that are far superior. They aren't a huge emotional wreck...like...like me." The final part I said quietly.

"But what if he wants to fix that emotionally wrecked up girl?" What if he really wants you? Only you, a girl who looks great to him in a polkadot dress with loose waves and no cosmetics to cover her. The girl who makes him grin merely by saying her name. Huh?" In his voice, I heard nothing but honesty.

Something in his remarks struck me suddenly. As I stood up and looked around, my legs jumped.

'How do you know I'm dressed in polkadots right now?" Shocked, I asked.

I peered around the bushes.

"Me? No, I don't think so. "Wait, you're...?"

"I am, indeed."

"Whaa..? Ha ha! Ha! Ha!Is it a coincidence?"

"What? What a strange coincidence..."

"I'm not sure. That's how I envisioned you to look...you know, carefree and all."

"Yeah..?"

"Yeah..?"

I began walking again. It was becoming dark now, and I'd lost my way back to my flat.

"Where have you gone...? I can hear the wind rustling." he inquired.

"Actually, I'm a little lost." I bolted from the field. And now I'm not sure where I am. I looked around, embarrassed.

"But don't be concerned; I'll be fine. I'll find my way."

"Please call him."

"Call? Who?"

"The same guy you were just talking about."

"What? Are you insane? No! That's just plain foolish! "Don't worry, I'll be fine!"

"OMG, the girls are so arrogant!"

"What? Mr., you have no right to say that! We certainly aren't!"

"You certainly are! You'd never call him!"

"To be honest, he invited me to the park, so it was his responsibility to make sure I was home, or at least near his house!" I smirked, despite the fact that he couldn't see me.

I looked around, trying to remember where street it was.

"I bet he doesn't live too far away, does he?"

"He doesn't. We're only a few minutes away."

"Okey.but please stay on the phone with me until you get to your place."

"Sure, sure. But my battery is about to die!"As soon as I heard the buzzer, I said.

"Well, then, hurry up!"

"Yes, I am!"

This place was fairly quiet. I could hear some movement in the bushes beside me as I walked. My heart rate increased as chills ran down my spine.

"Are you sure you're here?" I asked.

"Yes. I am always and forever present!"

"It's not a joke!"

"Okey. I'm terrified... i said quietly as I recognised no streets.

"Call him!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"I told you girls you were arrogant." He murmured, but not to me.

"Hey! I'm not! He should've actually come to pick me up!" I didn't get a response after that.

"Hello? Hello? Angel?" I looked down at my phone, which had become completely black.

"0h, damn it!" I swore! "Where do I go?!" I cried to myself as I looked around aimlessly.

"I'll take you for a walk." A low whisper hushed inside my ears. I turned around and lost my footing as an instinctive reaction to my fear. This time, a strong pair of arms wrapped around my waist and kept me from falling. My gaze was drawn to the dazzling ocean blue eyes that sparkled in the moonlight.

How did they get so blue...

"Um... Because I was born with them.." He replied with a 'duh' tone in his voice.
I soon regained my balance and rose to my feet.

"Hey...Damon..." I averted my gaze.

"I figured you wouldn't know where to go from the park, so I followed you." He stated.

I thought to myself, "You followed me."

"Not in that sense. No, I was just concerned that you might get lost. So I.." He seemed unsure of what he was saying.

"Oh. Yeah, I guess I did get lost." I took a look around.

"Nyx i-I didn't get a chance to express this sooner. But wait...what happened in the park? It was.It was important to me. I'm not sure why you thought that was a mistake. But it was something I had wished for for a very long time. It was the first time. And it was all because of you," his voice was full with emotion, and I knew he wasn't lying.

I was taken aback by the prospect of him telling me something like this. This was not something I expected to happen. But it happened.

Angel was so correct...how?

The emotions in his voice drew me in, enticing me to believe him.

"You. "Did you...?"

"Yes. I did."

"I apologize...I thou-" My words were cut short when his lips collided with mine. The moon was hidden beneath the clouds, which sprang out of nowhere and matched well in the setting. His lips slid to the corner of mine, and his mint breath blazed across my cheek. Rain began to fall. As I hooked my fingers in his golden flakes, my hands stretched for his head. His hands around my waist,  leaving delicate kisses.

My eyes closed as I let the rain wash away all my negative thoughts, leaving only me and him. Damon and me.
He drew back and put his head on mine.

"I think I've started to feel something special for you, Nyx. I have strong feelings for you. Please allow me to show this to you. Let me show you that you're the one for me." As he spoke to me, his lips brushed my nose.

'I do as well, Damon i do as well." I closed my eyes and his lips met mine once more.

"I'm not sure how we're going to pull this off. But, Nyx, we will. I guarantee it."
