END OF PART 1

Eight Technicians and six War Technicians stood in a large empty warehouse, surveying the barren room.

"This'll do," one of the War Technicians said confidently, pulling off his backpack and laying it on the floor.

"You sure?" a Technician asked suspiciously as he and all the others pulled off their backpacks.

"Positive."

They moved into a large circle, standing the leather backpacks upright and pulling large metallic cylinders out of the backpacks. The cylinders were about two feet tall and a foot in diameter, and had several transparent areas where hefty amounts of cryonite could be seen within. The tubes glowed with cyan light, painting the dark warehouse in the cold blue light.

They each removed a long black cable and hooked the tubes together before stepping backwards and sprinting out of the warehouse.

The steel canisters began vibrating, and the blue light intensified. Dust fell from the ceilings, and the foundations shook.

And then, as quickly as the cylinders had started vibrating, they stopped.

The light died down, casting its aura only a few feet.

The dust settled.

Darkness and quiet once more.
