Soobin went to the kitchen to grab the first aid box, while YN sat beside me on the couch. She was looking very upset, how could I not notice? My youngest sister was suffering all alone, she needed desperate help and I couldn't help her.
Why? Why? Why did she have to go though this? She's so precious to me, and Soobin. YN deeply reminds us both of our mother, her eyes, her lips basically all her features are just like mums.
" Hyung, the kit" I heard Soobins voice come and I came back to reality
" Show me your hand YN" I said, looking at her. She still had tears in her eyes that were flowing down her checks like a river.
" YN, please give me your hand Hyung needs to treat it" Soobin said looking at YN who still hasn't given her hand, she looked at him then at me, and then gave me her hand.
I carefully opened her bandages, I wasn't really ready for what I saw next. Her hands were covered in scars, both old and new. I looked over at Soobin who was staring at her hand, he saw my gaze and looked over to me, I sighed tearing the alcohol pad I gentle pressed it on her cuts getting an instant reply from her.
" Ahhhhhh oppa, c-carefully it stings really bad" she said hissing at the burning sensation, couple of times she tried jerking her hand back, but Soobin held it in place while I countiued disinfecting it
" Leave my hand oppa! It hurts badly " Yn yelled while I was clean a deep cut on her arm
" Soobin get the car ready...... We are going to her therapist" I said looking at him
" Okay Hyung" soobin said and glanced at YN before heading to the front door.
" Not a single word YN,get up please" I said eyeing YN who had opened her mouth to protest.
Within a few minutes, we were on our way to the hospital. The entire ride was in scilence. Soon after, we had reached. Soobin politely took a hold of YNs hand and we walked towards the the entrance door.
" Yes, okay we will let you know. Till then please wait in the waiting room" the nurse said when I told her the patients name and everything
" Thankyou" I said and gave her a bow.
" Oppa I reaallly don't want to be here" YN said quietly while we were siting in the waiting room
" It's okay, its gonna be Okay, don't worry much yeah?" Soobin told her in a smoothing voice tone
" Yeah, don't worry and mostly try to keep calm. Focus on your breathing in and out" I said looking at her, she gave me a small nod. We waiting a little more until a nurse came up to us and said:
" Jeon YN, please go to room 27 the doctors waiting " We then walked to the room and Soobin gave the door a little knock " Come in" doctor Lees voice came from inside the room.
I then pushed opened the door and us three came inside.
" Ah, YN nice to see you again, its been a while" doctor said looking at her
" Please, have a seat." Doctor continued on, as we sat she asked
" So, what seems to be the problem?"
" As you know, YN has depression, and for the past month she hasn't been giving you a vist as she thinks, that's she's doing okay. Unfortunately though I think it just became worse" I told the doctor
" I see, please countiue on" dr. Lee said
" Today morning, Soobin and I saw a patch of blood on her hoodie, we immediately got concerned, eventually we took a look at her hand. YN here she

Self harms" I finished of and looked at the doctor who was staring at YN with sympathy. YN was just seating there hold onto Soobins hand tightly while yet again she had tears in her eyes.
" YN, I know that this very much against your decision.,but I have to other choice but to prescribe you antidepressants" Doctor Lee said and started type the prescription on her computer
" Okay so, the pills im gonna give you for now is called " citalopram" this medication helps treat major depressive disorders along with panic and social phobia. The effects start happening from 1 to at least 4 weeks" doctor Lee said looking at us.
" I-s there any s-side effects?" YN asked the doctor while stuttering a little
" It ofcouse comes with side effects every medicine does, fortunately its not something you can't handle, your very strong YN. Common side effects are dry mouth try chewing sugar-free gum. You may sweat alot, feel tired weak, and sleepy, along with headaches and some nausea. This only lasts for 2- 3 days maximum 5. The dosage I'll give will be 2 pills per day, if you ever feel like it way to much you can always reduce it to 1 pill per day" Doctor finished of, while we were listening carefully to her.
" Anymore questions?" She asked us.
" No, thank you for your time doctor" Soobin said while standing up and walking towards the door.
" Anytime" the doctor said, I was about to follow Soobin and YN but I guess the doctor had other plans for me
" Can I have a word with you sir" she said
" Oh yeah sure" I said sitting back on the chair,
" You can go ill be there in a minute yeah" I told Soobin who was standing near the door, he gave me a small nod and went out with YN who was side hugging me.
" Yes doctor, what did you want to say?" I said turning all my attention towards her.
" Okay I really would appreciate if you could keep all the sharp objects in your house somewhere out of YNS reach. Example, knifes, razor blade etc. That would really help YN" Doctor said while I gave her a nod in understandment and agreement.
" Is there anyone in your family that has the same case as your sisters?" She continued on, for a moment I hesitated before saying:
" Actually yeah, our mother had depression. It wasn't as bad as YNs. For a while she was given antidepressants soon after, she had a recover to she stopped them. Years later, when our Father died, mum couldn't handle the pain anymore and overdosed on her pills, and sadly passed away aswell" I said while holding onto my tears. No matter how many years passed this always haunts me really badly.
" I see, maybe that's the reason YN fears the pills. Please take care of her, make sure she takes her pills on time. Do come back after 4 to 5 weeks i want to see YN progress" the doctor said looking at me with a small yet sweet smile on her face
" I will for sure, once again thank you for your time doctor" I said while standing up and giving her a full bow
