Long ago, humans and monsters lived in harmony, enjoying centuries of cohabitation and peace, with monsterkind inhabiting it's own small island located far off the east coast of Canada, around halfway between it and England. But it wasn't all as perfect as it seemed. And as the years went on, humans began to grow suspicious of the monsters, what they were, what they wanted, and what they could do. Until one day...

1815: The monsters' voyage from Ebott Island to America

The boat journey from Ebott island to the United States took around 2 days. Of the 1.2 thousand total monsters, around 200 were brought on their voyage to America. Their purpose was to settle the rising tension between the two races. After about 4 centuries of worldwide harmony, humans finally began to question just what the hell monsters actually are, and as their questions increased, so did their suspicions.

With a pensive expression on his face, King Dreemurr sat at his quarters on the boat. The King was a sizeable goat monster, with white fur and gold hair that went from his head down to his mouth. He also had two intimidating thorns, sharp and prone to cutting, but his kindly nature betrayed his scary appearance. He wore matte black heavy battle armour, just in case, cloaked by a prestigious purple cape, the colour purple showcasing his status as royalty. Revered by his people and a vast majority of humans, Dreemurr was a friendly man whose deep, soothing voice and benevolent nature calmed all those around him, he also had quite the sweet tooth for golden flower tea, and could often be seen inviting all in for a cup, much to the dismay of his late wife. Who, while loving her people and loved by her people, didn't appreciate her husband's tendency to invite random people in for tea.

His pensive appearance was soon interrupted by the voice of his most trusted confidant and royal scientist, W.D. Gaster.

"Sire, are you sure this voyage is necessary? The cabin crew and the passengers are all getting cold feet, I know how much peace means to you but-" The scientist spoke, before Dreemurr cut him off, his voice echoing through the open air, as a window was open. "This mission is vital, if peace cannot be attained with the world, who knows when President James Madison will declare war? And it goes beyond America, we've got China, The United Kingdom, France and more places to worry about! The treaty we signed all those years ago is hanging by a thread, we must reinforce it before our kind is wiped out or forced back underground." Dreemurr spoke clearly, his voice was slightly shaky, as if he himself was also afraid, and the other monsters were nowhere near as good at hiding it, they were all expecting the worst from this journey.

Ever since Monsterkind was discovered some 400 years ago, Humanity has always been wary of the race. Most welcomed Monsterkind, but a vocal minority feared and resented them. The growing fear over the past 400 years have caused global tensions to arise. And Dreemurr, determined not to make his kind go to war, set out to set things straight, one country at a time. Starting with America, its closest neighbouring country.

"And he's zoned out again." Gaster sighed. "Oi, snap out of it!" He had to resist the temptation to slap the king, but that could get him reprimanded, something he'd rather avoid. "💧︎☠︎✌︎🏱︎ ⚐︎🕆︎❄︎ ⚐︎☞︎ ✋︎❄︎" He yelled, his use of windings scaring the king out of his thoughts. "Damn it Gaster! Stop doing that!" Dreemurr scolds him.

"Good, I got your attention." Gaster snickered, his voice was disjointed, and otherworldly. To be fair, nobody really knows where Gaster came from, he just kinda... Showed up in Snowdin one day 500 years ago, and everyone rolled with it due to his genius brain being an invaluable asset to the royal family. "Oh, right. There was a special something, or somethings in the barrels we loaded on board the other day..." Gaster spoke mysteriously, and as if on cue one of the barrels behind them started to shuffle, eventually falling and out rolled two children. The prince and girlfriend, Asgore and Toriel. Significantly shorter than Dreemurr, Asgore wore a small royal cape, which was also purple, with casual outwear underneath. Toriel wore her signature deltarune dress, something she either never takes off or owns several thousand of, because she never wears anything else. "Those two." Gaster then spoke. "They snuck aboard."
