Was it Worth it

-As cold as they come-

A week had passed since (Y/N) last saw the girls. He had received texts from them from time to time but just as he was busy so were they. It was a cold afternoon at the Korean military base. (Y/N) and the rest of the special forces of Alpha team where in the field training Korean soldiers. And (Y/N) was a mortar crew instructing them on how to be more accurate. The sounds of explosions and screaming of orders could be heard. (Y/N) was berating the soldiers constantly to get them to work harder. After a few hours of training, he took the 1st Platoon on a march around the base in the middle of the night. Expecting to take a few hours but it took longer. (Y/N) returned to the base with the company at 03:13 hours. He lined them up and proceeded to debrief them

(Y/N)-Not bad today but I've seen better. Get some sleep and tomorrow Corporal Smith will take up the training for hand-to-hand combat.

The soldiers disbanded and soon (Y/N) went to fill out his report for Captain Miller. Halfway through his report the captain came into his room and put a file on his desk. (Y/N) picked it up and looked through it.

(Y/N)-What's this?

MM-The report on the Nigerian raid on Akin

(Y/N)-What about it?

MM-Look through the evidence report. What was the one piece of evidence that was not recovered on the raid?

(Y/N)-His laptop but why is that important he is currently in prison

MM-Dont you find it strange that he didnt even put up a fight

(Y/N)-Weirdly yea but I thought it was because he knew we were there

MM-No... it's because he knew that even if we did get him, he is smaller fish in a larger pond

(Y/N)-Wait Captain are you sayin-

MM-Yea... I think there is a bigger person at play... I'll do some digging and see what I can find in the meantime you get some rest you have tomorrow off so try and relax

With that the captain had left (Y/N) room and went back to his to make some inquiries about what was going on. Meanwhile (Y/N) took what the captain said and decided to get some sleep.

(Y/N) was woken up by a phone call early hour of the morning. He answered groggily with a raspy voice.

(Y/N)-Hello

Jh-Hehe... did I wake you (Y/N) I'm sorry

(Y/N)-No Jihyo it's fine what's up

Jh-Umm this is a little sudden but would you like to go and get some breakfast with me I would ask the girls but they are either still sleeping or too tired and I dont wanna go alone... please

(Y/N)-Sure yea I'll come and pick you up in an hour.

Jh-Ok see you soon (Y/N)

They hung up from each other and Jihyo had a huge smile on her face. But it didnt go unnoticed.

Na-Why are you smiling like that leader

Jh-Hmm oh it's nothing.

Na-Really... I dont believe you

Jh-Ya can I not be happy

Na-You can be... does it involve (Y/N)

Jihyo blushed and didnt answer.

Na-Ha I knew it.

Jh-No it doesnt

Their voices got louder which ended up waking everyone else.
