we pulled up in front of my house. We just came back from my parents house so I could pick y/n up. She's spending the next week here with us because my parents have to travel and my grandparents weren't able to have her this time

billie is also staying at mine and finneas house because idk, she just appears there sometimes, I'm not complaining I love her. she's like a little sister to me

let's just say that recently I don't have the greatest relationship with y/n. I think since I graduated and she was like, 8 she didn't kind of liked me anymore. she started to ignore me or just don't like me at all

before that, she used to be the biggest cuddle bug with me and she used to cling to me ANYWHERE I went. we were kinda inseparable, she was born when I was 10 so I kind of also parented her

it's not that she doesn't get along with finneas or billie, she's just so closed up recently and my mom doesn't trust her to be by herself she told me it was because y/n won't take her medication if she was alone. I didn't even knew she had to take meds and I have no clue what they are for but anyways apparently she has to take like 3 a day

she haven't said a word since we picked her up. Only nodding her head

we arrived home and she greeted billie by waving her hand and then finneas told her where she would sleep and she nodded running upstairs

"you guys don't get along right?" billie asked and I nodded taking a water bottle from my fridge

"it's probably just her coping way with teenage years I don't know" I shrugged while taking a sip and I felt finneas hug me from behind

"what are those?" he asked pointing to a couple boxes of medicine that I threw on the counter

"y/n medicine, I have no clue what are those for but that's why she isn't allowed home alone" I replied

"can I see them?" billie asked and I nodded

she was reading the labels and kinda widened her eyes at a especific one

"you didn't mentioned she have adhd" she said and I frowned

"because she hasn't?"

"this is the medicine my friend Zoe takes for her adhd, it's like a real hardcore pill and it's literally only for adhd. but those other pills I don't know what they are" she said

"oh- um that's news to me" I said trying to get answers to the thoughts in my head so I did what seemed like the easiest option

"Y/N CAN YOU COME DOWNSTAIRS FOR A SEC" I kinda yelled from the kitchen so she would listen to me, I heard grumpy footsteps and that's when I realized she was coming

"yeah?" she asked with a tired tone

"why are those pills for?" I asked

"mom didn't told you? wow I really thought she would since that's literally what she doesn't trust me with" she replied

"but are they for?" I pushed a little further

"this is iron, I'm anemic. this is for anxiety, this is the one I need so I can sleep and this is for adhd. any other question?" she said bluntly like nothing had happened
