hi pookies! thank y'all so much for reading this book despite the long wait for new chapters. writing this gave me a ton of deja vu

now for my favorite thing.. telling y'all things about this book 😍

• *i'll say it again* this book is a revamp of one of my first books of the same name. except i got rid of the cheesiest things, made the plot a bit more realistic and no more sandy bc she can eat caca for all i care and i brought dog back bc he's such an icon

• i never relied on the og hungry eyes in order to write this book like in case i wanted to bring something back. with my bad memory, i had to remember the very few things i had in mind from the og

• i had actually never thought of making a revamp for my old books until one day i was randomly reading a fan fic and i thought of some few things that i regret not putting in the og and so i was like "because i didn't put that, why not make a new one also because it's looking super terrible now that i've improved?" and here we are

• i was gonna get kate to cheat on soda with dally but i didn't like that bc that would be awkward

• when i was writing the part where kate was with daniel, i immediately thought of names for the dude until i remembered i named the og daniel and i still remember people thinking it was daniel larusso and i thought it was really funny so i put that back in here

• i was thinking on finishing this on the 2nd anniversary of hungry eyes bc i just wanted to but i realized i had so many chapters to finish so i couldn't do it especially since i don't get chapters done quickly

• i named charles (the kid) after charles from the og (aka melissa's dead boyfriend who got killed by sandy)
