4. Come to work tomorrow at 3:50 after getting much-needed rest.

I do just that with a fierce determination of making sure she doesn't find anything to explain next time and I promise to myself I won't give her a chance until I am working at this company.

I am done with her perfectionism! I don't ever want to see her mocking or annoyed expression ever again!

~~~
"There is no freaking mistake..." I grit out barely being able to keep myself from blowing up when she points out a mistake that doesn't exist!
She claimed she saw a mistake in my code which is already so wrong! But for her satisfaction I let her see the codes in front of her eyes, knowing full well there is no mistake!
STILL! This infuriating woman is saying that there is something wrong!
"Check again, Miss Williams. I am sure you will find your mistake." She said with an amused smirk making me narrow my eyes at her as an idea flashes through my mind.
Is she messing with me? No. That's ridiculous! Why would she? We don't even have that kind of relationship!
Other than her being my client, the only relationship that exists between us is dislike and annoyance...which concludes she can't be messing with me!
I release a heavy sigh as I turn the monitor back toward me and I observe every code I have written with hawk precision, hoping to find a mistake so that I can get her out of my office!
I can't stay in the same room with this woman for this long! I will go insane!
But as expected I find nothing. I tear my eyes away from the screen, looking her in the eye as I reply with conviction, "Miss Sayeed there is nothing wrong. If I remember correctly I am the expert here so, unless you are also a coding enthusiast OR a witch. You should accept that there is nothing wrong and despite your dislike toward me, I am good at my job."
The woman simply chuckled as she shook her head. "I never disliked you, Miss Williams. I was merely fascinated by your talent of presenting me with your work without it being ready. I am glad you are finally learning."
My fists clenched at the backhanded insult and the condensation dripping from her voice.
No. Don't say a word.
"Understood. Now, is there anything else to discuss?" I ask, my voice cold as I kept all the emotion out of my voice.
Neither her games nor her are worth me losing my cool. She wants to get under my skin, provoke me, and see how much I can handle. But I am not interested.
A flicker of surprise passes her eyes making me internally smirk. She opens her mouth to say something but softly mumbles something to herself, closing her eyes before looking back into my eyes with the same confidence as before, leaving me confused.
"No, Miss Williams. I hope I won't have to dissect your next report. Contrary to what you might think I do have other important work than finding mistakes in your work." She wasn't hoping...no. She was telling me and I had no intention of letting her win.
"Of course, Miss Sayeed," I say with a determined expression on my face as I rest my hand on the desk in front of me.
Suddenly the air around us shifted, as her green eyes darkened...the mist pulling me closer.
"Good." She says simply looking into my eyes with an expression I couldn't quite place. We should have looked away but we didn't. The meeting is over, she should leave. Yet she didn't. I have no idea how long we looked into each other's eyes but I knew one thing...the green mist kept me trapped. I couldn't move away even if I wanted to. Another weird thing, I didn't want to look away!
