Once the morning came Jones went up and got dressed and would've ran to the quay if she hadn't been stopped by Penny and Sam.
"Hold on you, shoes please" Sam said as I sat down and he helped me put on my trainers as mum did my hair in two French plats
"I see you both after the trip" I smiled as dad picked me up into a piggy back
"First we're taking you to the quay" Sam smiled as he and my mum walked to the quay with me with me on my dads back
As we walked me and my dad sang the sea shanty that had been brought down In generations from the jones family side. Dad had taught me it and regularly sang it to me as a lullaby.
Once at the quay I was put down once Sam could see Mrs Chen and my friend group.
"She'll be okay Sam" Mrs Chen said as Sam let me run to my friend group
"I know, if there's any trouble call any of her aunts or uncles, she may prefer it if you call uncle Elvis as well as her uncle Charlie" Sam smiled "Jones me and mum will see you later okay"
"Okay mum and dad have fun in Newtown" I replied
"We will" they said as they headed off and uncle Charlie took us to Pontypandy island once everyone was accounted for
