The Return (Once Upon a Time sequel)

Chapter 14

"I should probably go to Peter now, otherwise I'll have an even bigger problem." I stated.

"Yes..." Nate cleared his throat and took a step away from me.

"See you at training." I saluted him and slowly backed away from him.

Nate chuckled and saluted me too as he walked to his cabin.

Smiling and turning around, I walked to Peter's treehouse.

"I can't believe you actually came past my guards and even escaped from campus. You even knocked one of my boys out." Peter repeated tonights events as he paced back and forth before me.

"You even cut your hair?! Why? Did you escape only to do that?! Couldn't you just wait till morning to go to Tinkerbell?"

"Hey, easy with the questions. I did nothing wrong." I muttered, crossing my arms over my chest and shifting my weight on one leg.

Peter ran his hands through his hair.

"Actually, you did. Coil could have died if you had hit him in the wrong place. And here I was agreeing on teaching you how to fight..." Peter's voice was quite loud.

"But I didn't and I won't do it again. So, what's the problem? Coil's alright." I shrugged.

Peter stopped pacing and looked over to me.

"Don't you copy that bastards words!" He yelled.

"His name is Alek and I'll do whatever I want! You're not my father to tell me what to do!!" I snapped.

Peter and I stared into each other's eyes in anger.

"Why did you even cut your hair?" He asked softly after a while.

"Because I wanted change." Was the only thing I said.

Peter stared into my eyes a bit longer before pulling away, sighing and massaging his temples.

"Despite the fact that you escaped and  knocked one of my boys out, you will not have a harsh punishment. I see your lessons with Nate are going well and I have to admit you pick up on fighting very easily." Peter admitted, surprising me.

"I hate to admit this but I'm proud of you. You're following the right steps." Peter exclaimed, surprising me even more.

"What's my punishment?" I asked sternly.

Peter looked down on me.

"You will have to wake up ealrier than everyone else and begin with working. Fix the weapons and prepare the training place." He said, darkly.

"Alright." I muttered, catching him off guard this time.

I had Ariel's words still freshly printed in my head and I wasn't in the mood to fight with Peter more than I already had. I had to try not to loose the little trust he already had in me.

I turned around and exited the treehouse, climbing down the tree and strolling over the campus to my cabin. I needed to catch some sleep to be fresh and bright at training today. Nate had told me that we were going through some serious moves and had to stay focused to succeed. 

As soon as I entered my cabin, I fell upon my bed. Darkness consuming me the second my head hit the soft pillow.

Hola, aloha, bonjour, hello my Dreamers!

I hope you are all doing fine and that you enjoyed this new chapter. It's summer over here so that means that I'll have the opportunity to update more and without leaving big spaces in between my chapters.
