"It's cold when you leave," he muttered, turning to face her. She smiled at him over her shoulder.

"If the point of having two separate rooms is because we can't sleep together, then I would suggest getting used to sleeping alone." She walked over to his side of the bed and slapped his hip. "Come on grumpy pants, you need to get up anyway. It's almost time to get ready to leave for some filming." He looked up at her and shook his head.

"How can a beautiful angel in the morning be such a damn devil." He sat up and she gave him a brief kiss as she laughed. She tossed him a wink as she walked out the connecting door.

"I'll see you down there."

Judith pushed her shades up on her head and rubbed her eyes, the director yelling cut for the twentieth time making her scream. She wasn't sure what was wrong with the last ten takes but something was bothering him. The crew had been sitting out here, on this beautiful beach on this gorgeous day for the last six hours and every time, something was wrong. For her, Judith was past the point of caring right now.

This was her story, but she wasn't this nit-picky, so she could only assume something else was bothering him. And at this rate, this few-week deadline at the water would be a lot longer than that. She could even see the actors getting frustrated and she couldn't do anything but shake her head at all of this. Jumping on them when they were doing what was being called out time and again wasn't good.

"Cut," the director called out again and Judith jumped out. It was time for a break if not a full-out end of day.

"I'm not sure what's going on," she told him, walking over to him, "but I think we need a moment. They are getting upset, as are you, and I think you're struggling to figure out the vision you want." She glanced overhead at the sun and shrugged. "The sun is still high enough to get a bit more in before the end of the day." He nodded and waved his hand, signaling to take a break. Judith walked over to Angel and Molly and sat down next to them.

"This is fucking crazy," Angel muttered, leaning back on his hands.

"I agree. It seemed like nothing was right for him!" Molly cried, shaking her head. "I had a rough night; I don't need this as well. I'm going to grab a bite, anyone want anything?" Both Angel and Judith shook their heads.

"Did you have any problems with those takes?" Angel asked Judith.

"Not on my end. That was all him. Almost seemed like he was pissed off and taking it out on you guys." Judith grinned at him. "It did give me a really good scene in my head though." Angel laughed as he swiped some sand off her cheek.

"Poor mind never stops, that's not good JD." She shrugged but smiled at him. "Want to hit a local joint after this?" he asked her, and she blushed.

"Yeah, that sounds good." She glanced over her shoulder at the crew and shook her head. "I think we're about done here. And if this first day is a sign, the next little bit is going to suck ass!" Angel stood up, holding out his hand for her, and nodded.

"I usually try to be positive and think things will be okay, but he looks like someone threw up in his Cheerios and is on a war path." That might have been a huge ass understatement, but she didn't want to correct that at all. With a final call, the director called it for the day and Angel grinned. "Okay, seafood, okay?" Though it wasn't her go-to for food, Judith figured she probably wouldn't get much better than some of the places out here and nodded.

"Yup, along with some Rum!"

"Now you're talking," he joked, walking off the set. Thank goodness for the simple beach attire they had going on, so much wouldn't have to be changed out of. Five minutes later, Angel walked them into a little restaurant and Judith took a deep breath.

"Oh, God, that smells amazing," she moaned, sitting down in the chair he held out for her.

"It does." The waitress smiled at them as she handed them their menus. "Do you eat seafood?"

"Sometimes," she replied, glancing over everything. "Hell, what doesn't look good?" Angel chuckled and she glanced up. In the faint light, with the sun still peeking in, she wanted moments like this to last. In fact, at times like this, she could see a future with him, and she wasn't sure what to make of that. Yes, she was learning to be okay with now and was happy with that. But now wasn't a year from now. She might not be in California anymore and she couldn't dare take him away from his family and the love of the limelight. She twisted her lip, her eyes focusing on the menu again.

"Figured out what you want?" he asked, glancing up briefly.

"You," was the simple response that had her cheeks flaming red.
