"You need to do something for me first" Peter stood still and both of his arms were on his back standing like a guard

"And what could that be?" Jeanine turns her head at him

"You keep her safe"

"Who, Valkyrie?" She guess

"Keep her safe and I will do as you please" Peter's voice was in a dark aura

When he got back to the headquarters he sighed and took a deep breath, Val was not a task he was simply doing this to keep her safe and she can't know otherwise things would be complicated

"Okay, this is your finals" Eric held a looking tablet and showed the group who's gonna stay and who's gonna be factionless

Peter was relief when he saw Val's name under Cris, his name was on the very top of the list which he is proud of

Val and Cris high five each other, and Tris was relief to see her pass the finals

"Great job Peter you really outdone yourself" Molly said

"Thanks" He quickly left the room to clear up his mind

Loosing Val is a nightmare but as long as she's fine and he can watch her from the distance , they haven't talked ever since that argument they had and Four has been watching Val like a hawk so he couldn't get closer

"There will be a party later you should go" Drew said while he clean his bed

"For what?" Peter ask

"The Born Dauntless are throwing it because of the finals, it's just a little celebration" Drew answered as he continues making his bed

"We should go" Molly suggested

"No" Peter shook his head "I can't I don't wanna go anyway"

Peter then look up from his bed to see a guy walking up to Val and talked to her, she smiled and nodded and he was wondering what they were talking about

"Come on Val is going there it might be the chance to talk to her" Drew said

Peter sighed and decided to go despite Eric's words not to but he had to

That night Peter and his friends arrived at the party and it was amazing, loud music was blasting all over the place and so many Dauntless dancing, drinking or talking

A moment later he spotted Val and her friends they were having a great time until the guy from earlier came at Val

He asked her to dance the moment changes into a slow and romantic one

They both went into the dance floor and the guy wrap his hands around her tiny waist while Val wrap her hands around his Neck

This made Peter's blood boil so he grab a blonde girl from aside and forced her to dance with him

"Hey!" The girl tried to push him away

"Dance or I'll make you" He whispered to her ears

The girl slowly nodded and held his hand and the other on his shoulder Peter's hand snaked around the blonde's waist

Valkyrie who has been watching the two from a distance, she scoffed

"Is everything alright?" The boy ask

"I'm alright Jake" She nodded

Jake left to grab them a drink and Val was left in the middle of the dance floor while everyone was having their moment

Peter and the blonde girl dance close to Val so she can hear whatever they were talking about

"It has always been you, Luce" Peter whispered to the blonde girl

"I love you" The girl said

Peter look at her eyes before smashing his lips to hers, it was rough and hungry

This happened in front of Val, she can feel her cheeks burning red and tears streaming down her face, Peter constantly kiss the blonde girl in front of Val while she stood there looking pathetic

Will suddenly stood in front of Val covering her view she let out a soft cry trying not to break down

Will look at Peter who just pulled away from the blonde girl and his eyes met Will's

He looks at him angrily but at the same time disappointed he took Val away and they left the party

After that night party Peter was walking back to his bunker to rest, Drew was left behind

Four launched at him and push him on the wall

"If you ever come near her I will kill you and it doesn't matter if she's inlove with you Candor I will put a bullet in your fucking head!" He threatened

"I don't care about her anymore" He coldly said

Peter made it to their bunker and he looks at where Val's bed is, there she lies peacefully her nose were red and she has a runny nose

She must of been crying so much

"You've been hurting her Peter" It was Will he was still awake

"She has been crying for hours because of you" He said

"Look, I can kiss whoever I want and non of you would give a fuck about that"

Will stood up and pin him on the wall "Do you have any idea what you have done?!" He slightly yelled

"Four is taking her away and you won't get to see her" He said

"Good then my life would be better when she's gone" Peter coldly said

Will was confused "What went wrong for the both of you?"

"A moment ago you were deeply inlove with her and your treating her like this?"

"So suddenly?"

Peter wanted him to tell Will the truth but he can't he promised not to tell and Jeanin would keep her safe, unharmed.

"I changed my taste in woman" He simply said and lay on his bed completely pretending to be unbothered

"Forever" Will Whispered but he clearly heard that

Forever. What does he meant by that? Valkyrie would be taken away by four and he thinks it's the best way to keep her safe biy his gonna see her again right? Can he?
