"Together?" Beatrice held both the girls hand
"Together" Cristina repeated to confirm and Valkyrie nodded
The girls jumped of the train and landed in a pool of rocks, the girls laugh it off while laying on the ground
Just then a boy stood right above Valkyrie, it was the same boy from earlier Peter.
"Get up Stiff" He grab her arm and pulled her up
Cristina and Beatrice stood up and rhey approach a group who was just off the edge of the building
"If you want to enter Dauntless, you gotta jump" The looks evil right off the bat
"If you don't jump they you'll be factionless and would be kicked out" He added
"I'm one if the leaders, Eric"
"And this is your way to Dauntless"
"Jump? What us there water at the bottom or something?" A tall boy asked
"Well you'll have to jump and find out" He answered
"Any volunteers?" He look around
The group grew in silence and look at each other
"I'll go" Beatrice
The crowd began to whisper and Beatrice step froward, Valkyrie and Cristina look at each other
Beatrice took her cardigan off and someone from the crowd cat called her
"Yeah that's right stiff take it off" It was the boy again, Valkyrie look at him while he and the rest if thfe crowd chuckled
"Put it back on" He looks at Valkyrie like he knew she was already looking at him
Tris climb up and look down, trying to see if there's water or something at the bottom to catch her but it was pitch black
She closed her eyes and jumped, gasping for a moment before landing at a wide and large net
Valkyrie and Cristina immediately watch her fall and land or a net which gave them confidence to fall down safely
"Okay, you" Eric pointed at Valkyrie "Your up" He pointed at the edge
"You'll be fine" Cristina brushed her elbows to assure her that it was fine
She nodded and took her cardigan off too before tossing it to where Beatrice's Cardigan is
Her bare back is now visible to the crowd and she turn around to see almost all the boys smirking
Someone cat called her
She climbed and look at everyone before pausing
"We don't got all day girl" Eric said rolling his eyes
"Don't worry I won't mind catching you after when you fall for me" A guy said and laugh
Valkyrie ignored her and jumped, she falls for about 5 seconds before landing into a net just like Beatrice did
She got pulled off the net by yer own brother... Tobias
"What, they pushed you?" He asked
"No I jump on my own" She answered
"What's your name?" He ask
Valkyrie thought he knew her name but maybe he forgot about her already before she could answer Tobias added some words
"If you choose you won't get to change it again"
She exhaled "Val" Tobias nodded
"Second jumper Val!"
The Dauntless members cheered and Val walk towards Beatrice
"It's Tris now" She said
"Val"
After everyone is done they were gathered into a one group
"My name is Four, and that's the onlh thing you'll knoe about me" He said formally
"Four like the number?" Cristina spoke
"Exactly like the number"
"What 123 were taken?" She chuckled and most of everyone followed
Four approach her with a stern look on his face which makes everyone shut up
"What's your name?" He slightly whisper
"Cristina"
"Well Cristina the first thing you'll learn from me is if you want to survive here I suggest you keep your mouth shut" Hjs voice was dark
He was far from the Tobias Val knew
Cristina nodded
"Okay everyone follow me!" Four lead them into a room
"This will be your bunks until your finals and then we will give you your separate rooms"
"Get change dinner is at 5" He then left
"So were suppose to share this with..." Cristina look at the boys who were picking their bunks
"Well we have no choice" Tris said and picked her bunk
Val and Cristina choose ones that are close to Tris and so they change
Val took her shirt off and put on some t shirt and change her pants, little did she know someone was staring at her as she change
"Quit staring dude you're weird" Molly smack Peter with her shirt on his back
"I was not staring at her" He said and look away
"Oh yeah like you weren't staring at her when she took her cardigan off earlier?" She laugh
After everyone was finish Changing they were brought to a firing pit where they threw in their clothes, old ones
They then came in what looks like the cafeteria
Tris, Cristina, two boys and Val sat on a vacant seats
Trus grabbed a hamburger and paused for a moment to look at it
"Have you never seen a hamburger before?" Cris asked
"No I've seen one but I've never really tasted one" She said
"It's pretty good" Val commented
"Usually it was kinda gross when it was made but in Erudite we make sure it's safe for everyone" A boy with curly hair said
"What kind of text book did you swallow?" Cristina said earning a laugh from Another boy
"Nice to meet you too" The boy with curly hair munch on his food
"What are your names?" Tris ask
"I'm Will" The curly boy said
"My name is Al" The blonde boy said
"I'm Cristina and this is Tris and Val" She pointed at her friends beside her
"Val like Valerie?" Will guess
"She doesn't talk much" Tris said
"Valkyrie" Val answered softly
Just then the cups started to makes noice by everyone slamming them against the table
They all look up to see the leaders
"Welcome New members, I hope your training will go far from good I wish you the best, we will give you some of the rules here at Dauntless but for now let's all welcome our new members!"
Everyone cheered and picked up the new members which are Val and her friends, they were passed on to everyone as everyone cheered and clap.
