Chapter Twenty Seven - His Love

Namjoon pov

I woke up to Jungkook brushing my hair with his fingers while humming my favorite song

I felt a shiver down my spine whenever his fingers go through my hair

I wanted so badly to get up and run away as far as I could from him but I was scared to disobey him

I don't want him to hurt me anymore

We lay there for what felt like hours before Jungkook decided to break the silence

"You sleep well?" He asked softly but I flinched even though his voice was gentle

I tried to say something, anything but nothing. I opened my mouth but no words came out of it

What is wrong with you, say something before he gets mad. Remember he hates being ignored

I tried again but I couldn't find my words

I heard him sigh under his breath as he moved closer to me, enough for me to feel his breath on my neck

"Baby, why won't you say something hm?" He asked but I still stayed quiet

"I'm sorry," he said out of the blue while still brushing his fingers through my hair "Baby you know that I will never hurt you on purpose, right?"

I almost rolled my eyes at that. What about last night, he hit and choked me.

"And I'm sorry about last night, it was a mistake, I should have never done that. I love you so much it makes me insane. But you are my medicine, you keep me sane. I don't know what I would do without you"

"Forgive me, I won't do it again" He begged. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at that afraid he might catch me doing it

This isn't the first he promised not to hit me but he still did. And every time he did it was worse than the last

"I-I forgive you" It's not like I have a choice anyway

He wrapped his arms around my waist and brought me closer to him

"Thank you" he said brushing his head on my neck "I love you, will you marry me?"

My eyes widen at that, has he lost mind? I can't marry someone like him. I stayed quiet not knowing how to tell him that that

"Is that a yes?" I shiver when I felt his hot breath on my neck but still, I didn't say anything "Well, I'm waiting"

I could feel the impatient in his voice but my lips was frozen

Say it, just say it and no one will get hurt

My mind urge me but before I could open my mouth to say it, Jungkook was already on top of me with a not to happy face

"You won't say it, right?" I gasped when he grabbed my hair in not a friendly hold. My eyes widen in fear when he lowers his head to my face "now it better be a yes? And not be what I'm thinking" he said sternly as his grip on my hair got tighter

I was frightened but I can't marry him, if I did I will be stuck here

"I-i c-can't marr-" he cut me off with a smack across my face, I cried out when he grabbed my face roughly

"You are really testing my patience now, I love you but don't cross me, I can be deadly even to you" he warned as his nails diggs into my face

"W-why are y-you doing this?" I cried "I-i don't want t-this"

"Shhh I'm doing this for you, for both of us" he said "this is for our future, soon we will have kids and we will leave here forever"
